The experience was okay and the truck was a fair price but when we got it home we found a headlight was out and that the windshield wiper fluid tank would not hold fluid if they had checked the truck at all they would have had to know about this thing and should have disclosed them. That said we know we bought it as is just buyer beware they don't seem to check for these sorts of things.

Best buying experience ever. This was my 1st online purchase. The price advertised on Cargurus was the actual price I paid...no hidden fees, no dealer fee, it was straight forward with no surprises. This is the 1st dealer I've ever found like this, it seemed to good to be true but everything was easy. The price of the car was the best deal I could find, the same car at other dealers was anywhere from $3-5K more..then comes the 1-2K fees. So after everything was worked out & it came time to ship the car, Cox & Co. Motorcar (Mark) found me a transporter for only $450 to get the car from Nashville TN to South Mills NC in just 1 day. When the car arrived I was impressed by the quality of the transporter that Mark arranged, very professional. After inspecting the car I was yet surprised again, I can tell that Cox & Co. Motorcars had the car professionally detailed and waxed along with any scratches the car may of had buffed out, this 2018 Tesla looks, feels and rides like it is Brand New! Next time I'm in the market for a used car this is the first place I'll be looking!

BEWARE:I purchased a Ford Focus. One of my first questions for them was if the car had a clean title. He told me it did. I had to keep calling about the title with no one calling me back. After 2 months they said the title was in. I went down to pick up the title two days later for him to say the title was not there at first then he found it. I still had to wait for the owner to come and sign off on it. Then I went down to register the vehicle only for them to tell me the bill of sale had to have their address and phone number. When the clerk called them to get this down, their answer to her was they were eating lunch. In which would be fine, however when I called myself to him- I wanted to know a time frame of when they could email it down there-he would not give me a time frame and hung up the phone. I finally got that paperwork emailed but then the clerk told me there was another problem -the vehicle had been totaled out and had a rebuilt title to it. I was told that the vehicle had a clean title from the beginning so that is why I signed off on the document. I was taking his word. The people down there are very dishonest and only want to make a buck. I would hope they change their ways. Always get something in writing with this company--they are famous for saying they have clean titles but they don't. BE CAREFUL.

Terrible experience was sold a total lemon. A reputable dealer would have taken the truck back as we asked then to because that they lied and misrepresented. The truck arrived with a broken steering column, missing exhaust , numerous serious warning lights etc thousands of dollars worth of repair .local Chevy dealer gave written appraisal for $1500 and I paid almost $18000, need to start a lawsuit now unless we can resolve this awful ripoff . DO NOT BUY from Ben and this dealership as they cannot be trusted we gave them very opportunity to resolve this disaster and no action was taken.

I recently attempted to purchase a truck from out of state through CR at University Motors in Nashville, TN. After confirming the price—including TTL and a $699 dealer doc fee—I provided my state’s DMV contact information to help facilitate the out-of-state process. I was told CR needed to check with their title office, and that I’d receive answers ASAP early in the week. Instead, I received vague updates and was left waiting with no follow-up. It wasn’t until Thursday morning, when I reached out myself, that I was finally informed the truck had been sold to a relative of the owner. Up until that point, I had no idea the deal had even fallen through. C.R. mentioned they don’t take deposits and operate in good faith as a small-town dealership that values transparent deals. I accepted that at face value, trusted we were working toward a sale, and let them know I was fully approved by my lender and ready to move forward the moment title confirmation came through. I understand that “business is business,” but the lack of communication, transparency, and basic professionalism made this a very disappointing experience. I cannot recommend doing business with a dealership that doesn’t back up its word or respect a customer’s time and trust.
