I have a Mazda 6 that has a VERY expensive battery. I called Alan Webb Mazda service and they quoted me a $75 service charge to install the battery. When I picked up my car and they gave me the bill, there was a $31 charge for installation. The service writer said that she feels bad for people who have to pay so much for a battery and discounted the service charge. I didn’t ask for this, she just did it. I had reservations about going to this dealership for service because of prior experience, but I’ll be going back again.

Horrible experience, waited 1:30 hours for an oil change at the Service department. They lied to my face that they are working on the car and that oil change takes 90 minutes. I finally demanded my car back and they brought it… they didn’t even started servicing after 1:30 hours. Stay away from them, absolute nightmare of customer service. Ironically, on the wall they say they aim for truly costumer satisfaction. For sure note the people that I had to deal… they have zero empathy for what happened.

I made a service appointment two weeks out and received a confirmation by text. On the designated date I called to confirm and was surprised to discover that there was no trace of my appointment in their system. A manager was supposed to call me "right away". A couple of hours later I received a call from a "service manager" who told me he was going to email me his email address (to email him the details of my previously set and now lost appointment). Two hours later -- nothing. I called again and was told said manager will call me back, again, "right away". Three hours later, as the day is nearing its end, -- still nothing. Apparently, the "service manager" has no interest providing that which he supposedly manages. In other words --a dissatisfying, lousy customer's experience. University Mazda -- here I come.

Friendly, courteous, informative staff - .though my vehicle was a 20-year-old MPV I felt I was treated as though I was a valued customer - on two separate occasions I left satisfied that my problem had been adequately researched & addressed & repairs were performed &/or diagnosed expertly - both service managers that I dealt with were excellent - they kept me informed as to how the repairs were progressing & provided accurate completion estimates - the part required to repair my vehicle was no longer available - the service manager & tech informed me what was needed its function & its location & reccommended that I attempt to locate a used replacement - this I did & all is well now. Poor communication. Unfriendly atmosphere. Physical plant is dated and worn. Cliché sales tactics and general lack of courtesy and enthusiasm. Ill informed sales people who promised to provide information and didn't follow through. Tried to negotiate a cash deal and couldn't get a bottom line price or even an email reply follow-up. Complained and got excuses. Only Mazda dealership in town, so maybe they think they don't have to try? Took my business to Pasco dealership and got professional and reliable treatment.

I bought a new car from this dealer. They specified a wrong low odometer reading on the documents. I signed it believing them. But, to my surprise the miles on the car were much higher than what was specified on the document. I made multiple attempts asking them to correct their mistake, but no one acknowledges or attempts to correct and instead blamed me for not checking the reading on the car when i test drove.
Lesson learnt to not trust this dealer. Ultimately i lose some miles on my warranty
