My grandmother went here to see if she could get approved for a vehicle. She wanted a used vehicle but was pressured to buy a new one. When she told the sales person her MAX monthly payment that she could afford he said “what’s $80 extra dollars?” (A lot when you are on a fixed income!) and made her feel belittled and small. She even asked about a specific used vehicle and he pretended that it wasn’t possible because it had just came in, and INSISTED she get a 2020 model. She felt pressured and signed the papers and left. She later called me crying saying she was scared and regrets letting herself be talked into something she can’t afford. I gave them a call to try and smooth things over, I remained polite and professional the ENTIRE time. I was just trying to figure out if it was too late for them to try and switch her into something more affordable for her since it had only been hours since her purchase. I was met with sarcasm and disrespect IMMEDIATELY. I get it. They wanna make money. That’s their job. But they cared more about getting a sale than finding a good option for her and then was VERY NASTY about it afterwards. Be wary y’all.

I brought my Colorado into them for the airbag light. It spit out the code for the passenger airbag connector or/and airbag. I chose just to replace the connector. That didn’t fix the problem. I drove less then 5 minutes and light came on. I was then told I needed a 920 airbag with 200 install. That repair didn’t make it 3 minutes down the road. The miscommunication between the service manager and technician was horrible. Dan told me at one point there was a way to test the airbag and had to be corrected by the tech. I was told by Dan that airbag light was coming on and off when tech moved the connector during airbag repair. The tech the next day said it was staying on solid. I jumped on Dan that if it was bad connector I should be refunded for airbag. That in my opinion is why the story changed come Friday when I picked up my vehicle. Dan offered to run new wiring from airbag to module under seat. The tech said he felt he could do this with a coat hanger without having to take my carpet up. I left with my truck. The best choice I could of made. It is now in a different shop and low and behold the new tech can just wiggle connector and get it to come on and off. He took dash apart and as you see in the pictures two wires to the connector aren’t attached. If this connector would of been done right I wouldn’t have 1,100 in on airbag repair. Anthony Chevrolet is refusing to return any money. I believe Dans original statement about being able to shake the connector last Thursday. Then changing the story come Friday. If another tech can shake it and the pictures show messed up wires well you be the JUDGE! The icing on the cake though is every other dealer I called and spoke to there service managers said that the old airbag is mine. Well isn’t it convenient Anthony Chevrolet won’t give me back my old airbag that never went off. They claim hazardous materials even though they will sell me a new one to walk out of the dealership with and junkyards sell used ones. This was a poor quality repair and there solution of using a hanger to run wires was another example of them trying to cut corners. The other dealerships I called said carpet would need to come up to see properly. This wouldn’t of fixed the problem anyways when you have a connector that looks like this. Buying a brand new vehicle in Dutch Miller in South Charleston was my biggest mistake I made. Now, I am being punished. Absolutely horrible customer service, a lot of promises but all lies just to make you feel better. When I put a car in the shop ( still having full warranty) they keep my car for a week, put 80 miles on it and burn my gas I had in. Same issue wasn’t fixed 3 difference times I had to bring it in.

I bought a new chevy colorado in September. It broke down while driving to work. I called chevy roadside assistance, and they sent me too Harry Greens. From the moment the tow truck driver told me where he was taking it, I knew this was going to be big problems. I went with the tow truck drive to drop it off and talked with thw service assistant. He told me that they needed to diagnose the problem before I can get a loaner, which at the time was fine. I asked how long it would take, and he told me a few hours. I dropped the vechile off at 830 am, at 330 i hadnt heard anything, so i stopped by on the way to pic up my wife. My truck was still setting in the spot the tow truck driver left it.
I go it the service department to see what going on, and Rob Gallo rudely tells me that they will get to it when ever they can get too it, then refuses to talk to me. I couldnt get any of the other service people to talk to me either. The whole staff was very unhelpful.
The next day I call a few times, and noone will talk to me, so I have someone drop me off at lunch, and asked to see the manager. The service manager is on vacation so I talk to the general manager, Frank Smith. Frank then proceeds to tell me that my truck isnt a priority for them since I didnt buy it at Harry Greens and that if I wanted service from them then i should buy it here next time. He then told me that if I wanted my truck fixed, then i should contact Midstate Chevrolet where I bought my truck. Aftet a few choice words I left.
I called Midstate on the way back to work, and they sent a tow truck to Harry Greens picked it and brought me a loaner vechile that day.
What happened in this situation was absurd. On all the ads for Chevy you here about how good Chevy Service is. It shouldnt matter what dealership you buy your vechile from, you should get the same service every at every dealership. Frank Smith was right about one thing, I should have just went to Midstate. When I was looking for me truck I called Harry Green to see if they would get it for me. They didnt have what I wanted on the lot, and wouldnt go get what I wanted from another dealership. I called Midstate, and they not only found me exactly what I was looking for, but they drove 5 hours one way, worked out the whole deal over the phone, and had it too me the next day at a cheaper price.
Like I told the general manager at Harry Green, its a difference in attitude from the top,down. Midstate wants to help me, Harry Green wants to be xxxxxxxx! Im not sure how Frank Smith thinks that treating customers like xxxx wpuld make them want to buy a vechile from them.
Midstate went to Harry Greens, got it to their service department, and an hour later had the problem identified. And they gave me a brand new colorado to drive while they work on it.
Went Above and Beyond - Bobbystrax
Bought a second new chec trax and went to have my first service done. Thought theyd have it at least three days. It was ready the next day and had my care already pulled up front ready to go when i got there. Those service girls know their stuff and the mechanic that worked on it was very thourough in explaing to me all he had done name was Banner. A very competent,warm and friendly atmosphere. Ill never buy a car anywhere else

By the way King coal charged me $35.00 for nothing.Thats how King coal will put the screws to you,but we wont be buying any more there.........
