Excellent service. Every staff member was helpful. - Joseph L Metzen
I would recommend Maritime Ford to anyone looking for a used or new car. Very good customer service. The staff team was very responsive and the website was easy to navigate.

Great Experience-First Time Buyer - 1stcar2017
Nothing but positive to say about our experience. Started with online shopping which lead to an email. They called the next day and had the perfect car for us. Made everything very easy and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and part of the Witt family. Also had some good laughs along the way. Just ask for Emilio (AKA Ryan).
Great buying experience. - Sherry and Clair
The sales rep, Eric, was awesome. He made sure we got the truck we wanted. No heavy pressure tactics. Helpful, accessible and responsive throughout entire process of ordering a vehicle. When the truck came in, Matt was great at explaining all the wonderful gizmos on the thing. Cody’s sales pitch on the undercarriage rustproofing and extended warranties was heavy handed, and even a little insulting, but we suppose that’s the nature of his job. We do think he should refrain from slamming Consumer Reports ratings, especially given that CR was one the biggest reasons we chose Ford in the first place.
Satisfaction - Fedie1
Jason Stuart worked hard to get me exactly what I wanted. He is easy to talk to and work with. I love my new Ford Ecosport!
A stressful experience made easy - Dolphin
My car was dying. It's 16 years old and was slowly going downhill. I ended up making the decision to lease a 2017 Ford Focus from Pioneer Ford. The guys at the dealership made the whole experience as stress free as possible. They laid everything out for me, were honest with me in regards to payments and paperwork and all the other information you need when you lease a car. I would never use another dealership. Mainly because, the car i mentioned that was dying, I originally bought it from them over 12 years ago. I'm a repeat customer for life.
Great experience except for pressure to add more protection - Little Plume
Your site is a bit confusing: I mentioned I do not believe in extra body protection, & still have to listen to presentation that was not credible!
Excellent experience - Kevin Huber
Everyone was very helpful and considerate! I am very satisfied with my new vehicle! The experience was stress free and everyone worked hard to help me! Would highly recommend!
Not transparent - NewCarBuyer
First notice when you visit their website that they've posted ONLY 5 STAR reviews (with only a couple 4-star ratings) out of 71 reviews at the time if this writing. Too good to be true in ANY industry. In the summer of 2017, my husband and I bought a Ford F-150 pickup truck for $43,000. Of course, they were running a 0% offer that was NEVER offered us. They said it just doesn't pay off in the long run. I asked what it would take to get that type of financing, and they talked around us again. In short, we put $25,000 DOWN, and were told the best financing they could do was 5.9%. When getting ready to sign (thinking we could re-finance), my husband asked what our rate was, and boom, the salesman (James) says, "oh, 6.9% is the best we could do with your credit rating" (which by the way is very welcomed in most financing forums -- my husband and I both well over 700)!!! They then show us a sheet showing "new standards on credit." They then said over and over, and over NOT to refinance for 3 months or they don't get their commission for setting up the finance. It is not about the customer at Countryside Ford, period! We did wait the 3 months to refinance, but they will be losing so much more. You see, I've told my story to all those I work with (and I have quite the contact list). We searched all over the state for the truck we wanted, and sadly, Countryside had it. They had us really. Never again though. If they would have done good business, we would have never forgot them (trust me), and those we know would have learned of that, too. In short, they are are not transparent. Even with my attention to detail, their trickery was not fully apparent until after the sale. Our bad judgement, or bad business?
You can do better elsewhere. - Long Time Ford Fan
Fair. Overall not impressed.
A couple of exceptions - (1) Jim J. is exceptional to work with in sales.
(2) Best Lincoln mechanic I have ever found.
Disheartened - Madmom
So disappointed because we've had 2 really good experiences with Ballweg, but the third was a disaster. We purchased a "gently used", low mileage Dodge Caravan and within 2.5 years had spent over $7,000 dollars in repairs. When we took it to a Dodge dealership for more repairs they found major damage caused by an accident the first owner had (we were told it had been in a "minor fender bender") We were assured the van had been thoroughly inspected and was in great working other. The staff at the Dodge dealership said there was absolutely "no way" it had been thoroughly inspected because there were "obvious and glaring problems" the vehicle sustained in the accident. The Dodge dealership (service center) took pictures, spoke with Ballweg, faxed and emailed Ballweg information (at Ballweg's request). I even went as far as to call the D.O.T in South Carolina to try and obtain an accident report from the accident. My calls to Ballweg were bounced around from person to person. "Let me have you talk to my manager", "I'll have the owner return your call"... Each time it was someone new and basically in the the end I was told, you bought a used car. That's the risk you take, s*** happens.
Would never recommend!!! Go to beegstrom - Em42
Save yourself time and go look somewhere else!!!!! Was sold a jeep grand cherokee for 34,000 that had a cracked windshield. Wasnt told about it till after i signed. Hide the window crack with stickers.
Ron knew that I wanted 2 sell my car outright than trade... - anngast76
Ron knew that I wanted 2 sell my car outright than trade it in, so he sent a potential buyer to my house and days later it was sold. Thanks to Ron I had more money to put down on my new car I bought from him. He even gave me a great deal on it.
My experience with Ellsworth Ford, and Larry Anderson... - derricks
My experience with Ellsworth Ford, and Larry Anderson (President) was one of the worst experiences I've had in dealing with auto service. I had brought my Lincoln LS (with under 100,000 miles) in for a routine service: an oil change, diagnostics on the cruise control, and diagnostics on the shift solenoid (would sometimes not shift from 3rd to 4th gear). These were, or so I thought, fairly safe and simple tasks. I drove my vehicle in to Ellsworth Ford and dropped them off the keys. I returned an hour later, and was informed that they were still working on the vehicle. As I sat in the lobby waiting area, I could hear what sounded like a very rough running tractor turning over and not starting. When I asked what the loud noise was, the attendant informed me that it was my vehicle and it wasn't starting. I immediately told them to stop whatever they were doing, and before they did anything further they were to ask my permission. Shortly thereafter, the manager on duty (Larry Anderson) came out and asked me what my problem was. I informed him that when I wanted to know exactly what happened to my vehicle, why it's no longer running, and what was going on. He then informed me that they were trying to diagnose the problem as to why it wasn't running. He did not understand the fact that I had not brought it in for engine issues, and that I had driven it in with absolutely no engine or mechanical issues. Larry then informed me that I had two options, I could either: Pay them to diagnose/repair the engine Have them push it out of the shop and have it towed away at my expense I then informed him that neither of those options worked for me, and that I expected him to work with me to resolve this issue. His response included calling me stupid, and kicking me out of his dealership. I then phoned the police, and informed them of the incident. They came, and spoke to Larry (who had my vehicle in his shop still) and ended up pushing the vehicle out of the shop. No citations were given due to the civil nature of the complaint. I then had to pay a flatbed towtruck to come and tow my vehicle to a local mechanic in Ellsworth. A few days later, I was given the diagnosis that the engine was no longer good. I then had to pay for another tow back to my house (30 miles 1 way). The car has sat in my garage (not running) since. I drove my vehicle in to have a diagnosis on several minor, non-mechanical issues and end up with a ruined engine. It's very shocking to me how I can go from having a Lincoln LS with under 100k miles, that was running perfectly, and had been taken great care of, to having the engine ruined while in their care, and later have it pushed out of their shop at my expense like a piece of trash. Larry Anderson and Ellsworth Ford had made little to no effort in making this right for us. They refused to fix, pay for, or partially pay for the cost to repair the engine. Larry has been anything but helpful, respectful, or professional. My experience at Ellsworth Ford was something that I hope nobody else goes through. I would HIGHLY WARN anyone who decides to either have their vehicle serviced at Ellsworth Ford, or buy a vehicle from Ellsworth Ford simply because of how Larry Anderson had treated me, a valuable customer. My faith in Ford Dealers is not lost, however. I actually purchased another Lincoln from the Eau Claire, WI Ford Dealership and had an absolute wonderful experience. When I had informed them of my Ellsworth Ford/Larry Anderson experience, they were appalled. I would highly recommend anyone to be VERY cautious of Ellsworth Ford, go somewhere else that is BBB accredited, has positive reviews, and values their customers. Ellsworth Ford and Larry Anderson certainly do not. Good luck.
TERRIBLE! First of all, wouldn't go down on price one bit... - cheermom42
TERRIBLE! First of all, wouldn't go down on price one bit because we were trading in our vehicle, then when we finally agreed to go up to their price, they said no, and increased it $1,000! What shady characters! Then they went on CarGurus and increased their price $3,000! Either you want to sell it or not. Furthermore they said it was in "mint, like new" condition and when we went to look at it, it had a huge scrape in the back fender, 2 other dings in it and a broken side mirror. Don't even waste your time going here because all it will be is a waste of time.
Great Service - adamk03175
Great service every time. I take my Ford and my Chevy there and never had better service than here.(seems my Chevy tends to need more servicing than the Ford.) I never miss an oil change with these guys. Will be replacing my Chevy soon with a Ford from here. Just great service all around.
never again - mict71
I was never treated so badly as I was there. I they didn't want my business I wish they would have said so up front. I went to another dealership and got the same vehicle for Half the payment and 10 points lower I=on the finance interest. I will never go back
