Deceptive sales tactics and misrepresentation of the - kaneed
Deceptive sales tactics and misrepresentation of the condition of their vehicles. Lies, lies, lies. The very same day I bought a 2015 Chevy Trax from them the check engine light came. The salesman Dennis Goodlin repeatedly refused to address the issue and continually said "don't worry about it, you can drive it forever with the check engine light on." as if it was no big deal that the check engine light was on. Then he tried to explain it away saying "oh, you just don't have the gas cap on right". I had to file multiple complaints before the matter was addressed, at which time, Dennis Goodlin had the nerve to say he didn't appreciate me filing complaints and that he didn't want any bad press. Seriously? You screw over customers and expect not to get bad press. The Service Dept said they had no idea why the check engine light was on and towed it to Lacue's in Patton and got the runaround from them too. I finally had to take it to a Chevy dealership to get answers. There were pinholes in the catalytic converter. Luther knew this and just didn't want to fix it and make good on it. After 6 months of fighting and filing multiple complaints, they finally replaced the catalytic converter. In the meantime, I drove it to the grocery store and it shutoff every time I tried to start it to go home. Had to have it towed to Luther only to find out there was a electrical problem. This incident occured after only having it a few weeks and was two days before Christmas 2023, and they refused to give me a loaner vehicle until it was fixed, which took almost 2 weeks. This was when I pressed one of the managers about where they got the piece of xxxx car they sold me and he turned out to be the only semi-truthful person there. He told me they got it at an auction because it had mechanical problems and claimed they put $2,000 into fixing it. It obviously was NOT fixed! Now after having it only two years with continued problems and the check engine light continually coming on, it blew up. So now I have a car payment and no car! No vehicle should have continued problems and blowup two years into a payment plan. They don't care about screwing over customers. They don't care about customer service. It's all about using deceptive practices to make a sale and then them basically saying screw you now that I got your money and my sales commission. DON'T EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE BOTTOM FEEDERS!
