On October 12, I went to Frederick Motor Co. - 2083scadre
On October 12, I went to Frederick Motor Co. to test drive a 2017 Infiniti QX50. The salesman quickly found out it was in for its state safety inspection and said he’d call me when it was ready.
On the 14th, he called to say it was available. I told him I’d be there that afternoon, left work early, and started the hour-long drive. About 40 minutes in, he left me a voicemail saying the General Manager had taken the vehicle home. I called back and asked him to let me know when it was available again.
The next morning, the QX50 was marked sold on CarGurus and gone from the dealership’s website. No call, no explanation.
The GM’s bio says his goal is to make Frederick Motor Co. your “first and last stop.” It was my first stop, and it will be my last. I won’t shop here again, even if they have the perfect car. If you’re a serious buyer, don’t count on them to hold up their end.
