If you want to have your car serviced at Crossroads Ford - Mark Welsh

If you want to have your car serviced at Crossroads Ford of Apex expect to pay very high prices. Their diagnostic fee is $250, basically the price you pay for them to tell how much they will overcharge you for a repair. The labor to fix my problem took two (2) hours and cost $410 on the invoice, so their shop rate for labor is $205 dollars an hour!! On the final bill the line item for labor was listed as “supplemental work” and no breakdown of the hours or type of work for the job. There was also a charge for $40 in shop supplies to replace a horn?!? I asked an independent auto repair shop what they charged for the same repair including initial diagnosis, repair labor and part and the total was less than half of what this dealer charged. Not only is this service department ridiculously expensive, but I believe they will do everything they can to take as much money from you as possible with utter lack of transparency. Essentially, these folks are everything you would want to avoid when repairing your car. My advice is don't use them!!

⭐ 1 STAR — APPARENTLY A SIGNED AGREEMENT MEANS VERY LITTLE AT CROSSROADS FORD I purchased a truck from Crossroads Ford of Fuquay-Varina with existing interior damage. The dealership agreed to address the scratches, and we put that agreement in writing, signed by both parties. Now that I’m asking them to replace a scratched and broken interior component, suddenly there’s an argument over what “addressing” the damage actually means. Apparently, agreeing to fix something and actually fixing it are two very different things at Crossroads Ford. I’ve had to repeatedly ask, argue, and follow up just to get the dealership to honor what I understood was part of our agreement. The most disappointing part isn’t the damaged component. It’s the complete lack of accountability after the sale. If a dealership is willing to fight a customer over a relatively inexpensive interior part, imagine how they’ll handle something more significant. Buyer beware. Get EVERYTHING in writing, and even then, don’t assume they’ll stand behind their word. Selling vehicles is easy. Keeping promises apparently isn’t. One star. Extremely disappointing.

Very poor service department. They had the truck 4 days to replace a catalytic converter. I have had to contact them as they have not reached out to me at all to update me. The part is in but they have not the time to get it done per service department rep. Never again will I take truck to them. This is my work vehicle that I make my living with.

I went in to look at an I-Pace but they didn’t have one in stock. I spoke with Tomera and she was outstanding! She followed up with me to let me know they were expecting one to come in and she stayed in touch and addressed all my questions. She made sure to let me know when it came in and was extremely helpful and courteous. Even though I didn’t end up buying the car (for reasons that had nothing to do with the dealership), I would recommend doing business here and ask for Tomera!

I went this weekend for a specific vehicle I was interested in. They had the best price which is why I made the one-hour trip. Tyler met me at the door and helped me check out the vehicle, test drive, and fill out the application. There was no pressure, no haggling over price since all their vehicles are priced at their lowest option. The finance manager was helpful and explained everything clearly. Unfortunately, at the last minute, I needed to sleep on the decision since it was a big purchase for me. They totally understood and I ended up returning when they opened the next day and I'm so glad I did. I am so happy with my vehicle. It's the first newer vehicle I've purchased in a long time! Such a positive experience and not like past experiences when you get chased down by the salesperson and drive you crazy!

I was on-site ready to buy a vehicle and they sold it out from under me. “ Hello Mr Nelson this is Todd from Smart Cars by Wieland the GX Lexus is out at the moment Bella let the customers take it to pre sell inspection” Sent to me moments after I called to say I was on my way with payment and insurance. I walked in the door and John looked me in the eye and said “don’t worry I was very firm with them that you were going to buy the truck”. He sent me to lunch to wait for the vehicle. John had me waiting for over 3 hours before telling me he had sold the vehicle to someone These folks lied to my face and wasted a total of 2 days and over $100 of mine. I have bought lots of cars over the years. I strongly suggest you avoid these clowns

I worked with Justin Sutton and he was kind, honest, straight forward and didn't play the typical "salesman game." He went above and beyond to make my experience the best possible. The entire team of professionals were great to work with. Tim, the finance manager worked very hard to accomodate me in every way and is continuing to work on getting me the best interest rate possible. Every question I asked the salesman he had to go to the sales manager for the answer, I asked to speak to the sales manager, and he would not talk to me. I made a cash offer. He said I have to come in before they will even discuss it I live in Myrtle Beach and Fayetteville is over two hours away. I would not rather far if I didn’t know what the cash price was going to be. Salesman said it had it for several months I had two or three people interested but no one purchased a car , I’m a buyer, but they didn’t care, I had to ask the salesman to take my name and number. they also charge over $500 documentarily to whatever price is agreed on. I am waiting for the sales manager to call me. I guess they don’t care whether they sell the car or not. Wayne Hemphill
