Tennessee Direct was perfect for me. I do not like going somewhere and feeling like someone is constantly keeping their eye on me, riding around with me, like they do not trust me with a vehicle I am looking at buying. Never dealt with that here. The guys let you look around, and then answer any questions you have. They also let me know beforehand there was an issue with the car, they also put that same information on the website, but it was nice to know that I didn't have to ask the "right question" to get the right answer. They were very forthcoming with information on the car. I have dealt with other dealerships that are not that way. After buying the car, there was a small issue with it. I took it back and they put me in a loaner. The loaner was nicer than the car I purchased, and they were less anxious about getting it back than I was to give it back. They wanted to make sure my car was fixed. Shaun was great, he is who we worked with to buy the car. Chad was great, he answered any question I had for him and gave extra info. Craig was great, while the car was being worked on he would call and update me.

My awful experience began by me searching for a car on CarGurus.com, I was looking for 2019 Dodge Charger GTs, which this dealer had for sale. So I texted the company a few weeks back asking for a certain amount to negotiate, they never contacted me, so I tried to get in contact with them again about a week later, and they still served inconsistency, so I finally got in contact with them again last night and finally got a response, however, it was a response I didn’t expect. At 10:42a.m. today, I got a text from (662) 416-1130, which is this company, in which said: “Hey this is Wesley with King Kars got your lead on this 2019 Dodge Charger where do you get your 16- 17k from outer space? Wish we did have that much up. Are a democrat , or just that dumb.” So I then replied with... : (1/3) “Very professional and intelligent of you to confront me in such a way as a car salesman acting as a savage. I will be reporting this rude message to the manager. Thanks for making it that easy. Oh, and maybe next time it would be more convenient and intelligent if you asked about a down payment... Smh shows exactly how ignorant you are and you should be terminated for coming at me in such a way. Hope you learn something because this behavior makes this dealership look a mess, such a bad vibe...” (2/3) “Oh, and in the first sentence I was using sarcasm which you wouldn't know.” (3/3) “But I will call and discuss this with your manager, and maybe he/she and I can work out a deal. Thanks for your unprofessional and inconsiderate time.” Wesley simply, rudely, sarcastically replied with: “You are very welcome.” I replied to that comment which was obvious sarcasm with: “ “Are you a democrat, or just that dumb.” Wow. If your manager allows that kind of behavior and these slick racist slurs, then this is a terrible company that should be shut down, no wonder the reviews online are so xxxxty, because it employees low class, unintelligent, unprofessional, racist people like you. This is terrible service that has earned a 1 star review, if I could I would give 0 stars.” So this pretty much sums up my review for this company, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO EVEN MY WORSE ENEMY, it is employeed with nothing but unprofessional, racist, inconsiderate, ignorant, unprofessional, messy people. They will happily sell you a car at a "great deal," but THEY WILL NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR USED CARS!! We bought a used Hyundai from them that we test drove twice, never catching anything wrong with it, so we bought it. LESS THAN 24 HOURS LATER, whenever we turn the blinker on, the head/dash lights flashed obnoxiously! I took it straight to Alan Vines Hyundai (because I totally distrusted Gwatney at this point). Alan Vines found the electrical problem, and, in addition, found the ENTIRE bottom half of the engine compartment was SATURATED in oil!! This was going to cost us ~$1000 to fix both problems! I went to Gwatney to see if they would be willing to pay for it. He gave me $200 for the electrical problem but refused to pay for the oil leak that had CLEARLY been going on for months!! Gwatney stated their service techs never saw it, so it "wasn't there" and quickly slammed Alan Vines for trying to rip me off. I went back to Alan Vines and they let me take pictures, proving how bad the oil leak was. After showing pictures to Gwatney, he agreed it had to have been leaking for a while, but still said the same thing "our service techs didn't see it, so it 'wasn't there.'" My recommendation is to NOT do business with Gwatney EVER, but if you do, and least have your used car inspected by a neutral 3rd party BEFORE YOU BUY! And check out Alan Vines: those guys are awesome and HONEST!

Purchasing a car for my wife to drive was a refreshingly great experience. Our salesman, Matt Jolly, was on it from start to handover. In 24 hours from first seeing the ad online from another State, we were given all the information and support we needed to make a fast, yet detailed decision to purchase. Our City Auto experience was convenient, and aimed to please without being affected or pushy. The car we purchased is 17 years old but presented to us beautifully, and was very clean. The dealership takes pride in all facets of their business and are attentive to your requirements. A full and well earned, and deserved 5 stars.
