This was not an exciting or fun car buying experience by any means because of the stress and headaches I encountered for over 30 days ( how long I waited for the vehicle after purchase) due to MOST everyone's untruthful stories excuses. Only 1 person who did the paperwork on the purchase was helpful and understanding about the whole situation.

I purchased a vehicle from this dealership 12/2015 and I have not been able to obtain the proper title work. My vehicle is currently titled to someone else other than Phoenix. I am one of the 90 that has filed a complaint with the Attorney General regarding this issue. I have been given another 30 day tag however I was told by the DMV this would be the last one. Any other tags must be approved by the Attorney General's office.

Do not purchase a vehicle Lake Auto Sales. I purchased a 2007 Mazda CX-7 from this used car dealer in September 2024. Prior to purchasing the vehicle I spoke to the owner about how they service vehicles from their inventory. He explained that they have a garage next door where they inspect cars. After purchasing the car, I took the car to a mechanic I trust and discovered that the check engine light had been disabled. While I can't prove that Lake Auto Sales disabled the check engine light, I have no doubt that they knew it was disabled and they chose to withhold the fact that there were 4 significant problems with the engine that were not disclosed. Needles to say, I felt very abused by this transaction and traded the car in for scrap value to another user car dealer to purchase a more reliable car.

Good dealership. They were able to get me approved for a 2014 Volkswagen Passat. First car in my name so it was kind of a process, but we were able to make it work. They let me come in and check the car out before talking numbers and we’re not pushy at all like some other dealers can be. Definitely recommend.

I researched local dealers from Akron to Cleveland and in between. I found the pricing, selection and the fact that they include a Free Warranty quite attractive. Rick was my sales person for the purchase. He was friendly, genuine, and never pressured me one bit. It was awesome to the fact that I was introduced to the GM and the Owner. I was pre-approved within minutes. I went to the dealership on Thursday and my sales rep Mike was awesome. Very knowledgeable and professional. I took the car for a test drive and within an hour my paperwork was ready and I was happily on my home in a beautiful 2021 BMW. North Coast was very transparent regarding the pricing and protection options. I purchased an extended warranty from NVP which I cannot stress enough how amazing this warranty is. On my last vehicle from North Coast I had an engine failure three years into owning the vehicle. The NVP warranty fully covered my engine replacement and in just one claim it more than paid for itself. I will not hesitate to make a future purchase from North Coast. Great dealership. Super transparent about everything. Did maintenance on the vehicle before I purchased it, and he was super clear about what he did to it like replace the breaks, repair a speaker, etc. Basically just a great guy (I worked with Dave). Nothing flashy, no shenanigans, just a pretty basic dealer that I had a great experience with. Definitely would check their inventory out again when shopping for my next passenger vehicle. I should note that they don't negotiate on the price, but the prices are already very fair so that's not really a complaint. And obviously sales tax and other fees will be added, totaling $733 on a $6400 list price. Super happy with my car, and my experience with this dealer.
