I am sharing my experience with Columbine Ford because I - Branislavp1
I am sharing my experience with Columbine Ford because I believe customers deserve to know how their service concerns are handled.
My Ford Transit had a safety recall involving engine attachment bolts. Before making the approximately 1½-hour trip from Edwards to Rifle, I contacted Columbine Ford multiple times to confirm that the recall could be completed. On two occasions, I was told there was no recall on my vehicle. After further follow-up, I finally spoke with the service manager, Paul, who confirmed the recall existed and scheduled the repair.
Because of the distance, I hired someone to transport my vehicle to the dealership and paid for a full day of their time. When the vehicle arrived, I was informed that the required parts had not been ordered and the repair could not be completed.
This created unnecessary expense, wasted time, and frustration that could have been avoided with proper communication and preparation before scheduling the appointment.
When I tried to bring this matter to management’s attention, I repeatedly requested to speak with the dealership manager but was transferred to other employees despite my request. Evan, the manager, eventually left me a voicemail. I returned his call, but I never received any further follow-up.
I understand that mistakes can happen. What concerns me is the lack of communication, accountability, and respect for a customer’s time and expense.
It is disappointing to see how a few employees can damage the reputation of a dealership like Columbine Ford\. Poor communication, lack of follow\-through, and disregard for customers’ time are becoming a pattern that reflects badly on the entire service department\.
These employees are destroying all the efforts of the owner of this dealership to provide job security for all the others employees and efforts to help the owners of the ford vehicles.
Customers expect professionalism and accountability, especially when dealing with safety\-related repairs\. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here\.
I hope the leadership at Columbine Ford reviews this situation. A dealership’s reputation is built on how it treats customers, especially when problems occur. I hope future customers receive better communication and service than I experienced.
