It was clearly a mistake. I was supposed to finish my course work and have an entirely different path, but I needed a car and met a manager at an Oldsmobile store who promised me a company car if I would take the right care of the customer. I was 20, and I've been helping match folks to cars ever since. The company car, Olds, and most of my hair are gone, but people still want a helpful ear when on the hunt for thier next ride. Since then I've been blessed with a lovely wife, 3 fantastic children, and a heap full of grace. We have a doberman named Piper we rescued Nov. of 2016, and are still involved with the rescue. We bounce from softball to wrestling to Special Olympics depending on which kid and what season. Customers ask all the time if I’m busy, and I assume they mean selling cars. There is an ebb and flow to how busy a showroom is, but with 3 kids we're always busy. We enjoy family, grilling, watching the kids grow and succeed, and occasionally making it to the lake.

He called me when there was a car he thought I'd like. I love it! He is so thoughtful and professional in his approach to helping his customers. This is my second silver Cruise and Steve sold both of them to me. Aaron was also helpful and professional as was Mr. Lasley and Mr. Herrel. Everyone there is friendly and helpful and I will always return to Champion when I need service or a new car. You truly are champions. Thank you so much. Willie Hohn More

I had done my research and test driving at various dealerships in selecting a Chevy Traverse for this new purchase. I engaged with 3 dealerships via the internet/email on my interest and setup follow-up meetings with each dealership to hopefully negotiate a fair deal. Champion Avon was my 2nd meeting in this process and following my introduction to my sales rep, David Snoddy, there was no reason for me to keep my appointment with 3rd dealership. David was excellent in following my lead in evaluating the options I desired. Champion Avon and David showed what it means to earn someone's business. This is my 10th car purchase and by far was the best experience. I discovered this dealership when seeing that they are the #1 rated dealership in Indiana through a Google search. They backed it up. Unorganized, push, rude I walked in asking to drive the 2019 black traverse Redline. I was put in a 2018 black traverse. It turned out it was a demo car and wasn’t in the sys I walked in asking to drive the 2019 black traverse Redline. I was put in a 2018 black traverse. It turned out it was a demo car and wasn’t in the system and that’s why he pulled that one to the door.. David Snoddy the sales associate said I had asked for the 2018 but I didn’t. I had been on site the day prior and knew which car I wanted to see. He was very knowledgeable about the cars features during test drive. After negotiating the price of the car I asked to drive the traverse that I originally came to see. I heard a thumping noise. David said it was the luggage wrack. I said I didn’t think so and asked him to have a mechanic look at it. I had to wait for everyone to get back from lunch to determine that the tire(s) had a flat side on them from sitting too long. David asked if I could come back after they changed all 4 tires. I left at 1:30 and didn’t get called back until 5:30 and I had to call to get an update at 5:30. I don’t understand why I waited 4 hours to get 4 tires swapped out. When I got back I was put into finance cubical and I worked with Aaron Glaze. He was super friendly until I told him no to all of his option packages on gap coverage and extended warranties. During a prior conversation I told him I had gap coverage for my Jeep. He questioned why I had gap with Jeep but didn’t want it with a new car because “once you drive it off the lot it depreciated by 25%”. I was shocked and told him that he didn’t represent the company in a positive way. He also said that most repairs done at the shop were on electronics so he wanted me to get extended coverage. I told him I will take a chance on GM making a great product. He shook his head and said “I just don’t understand your logic.” He became cold and all business like and told me I could go back out into the lobby. I was met by David and he escorted me to my new car. He was helpful about sinking my phone to the car and asked if I had any further questions and then I went home. I felt drained. I went to the dealer at 9:30am and finally drove away with the car at 6:30pm. It took all the fun out of buying a new car. During negotiations I met the manager. We all went back and forth a few times working out the numbers. He made statements like “we have to keep the lights on” and “I’m literally selling you this car for .99 cents”. He was condescending and arrogant. I did tell him that I didn’t appreciate David dismissing my concern about the thumping noise and that I had to be proactive in having a mechanic look at the car. I think David should have suggested that. David later apologized but in the same breath said “if it continued to make the noise you could have brought it back and we would have looked at it.” I said “why would I want to buy a car making noise to just come back and sit all day waiting on it to be fixed?” I’m very frustrated in the whole process. I had read about all the rewards the dealership had. I didn’t see it. There was even a time that an associate dropped keys from a balcony above to another employee on show room floor and I said “glad that didn’t hit me”. Nothing made sense and at the end there was no use complaining about Aaron because I had enough and wanted to go home. I do not remember the managers name. I was there December 3rd. More
