Downey's sales and finance team were top-notch and they worked with me to keep me as a lease customer. The last time I went to a car dealership, I had an awful time - it was a Toyota on Whittier or somewhere out there, and immediately I got a bad vibe from the salesman. He was rushed, dismissive, borderline time - it was a Toyota on Whittier or somewhere out there, and immediately I got a bad vibe from the salesman. He was rushed, dismissive, borderline condescending. It turned me off from buying a car there, and from getting a Toyota at all, to be perfectly honest. But as soon as I got to this Hyundai, I knew I wanted to buy a car from Abraham. He was kind, honest, helpful, and it made the experience a million times better. And I'm thrilled with the car! More

I feel very lucky to be writing this review-- thanks to Downey Hyundai, I'm the proud new owner of an amazing car! From beginning to end my experience with this dealership was incredible. I got to work with two salesmen, Abraham and Jordan, and they both exceeded my expectations. Abraham met me bright and early on his one day off (to accommodate my schedule), and expedited a car they just got in so I would have a chance to test drive. It was a used car, definitely less costly than the majority of their inventory, and not once did he try to steer me towards spending more money. He made me feel comfortable and like we were on the same team; plus he was very knowledgable about the cars history, features, warranty they would provide me, and what to expect if I decided to purchase. What I was nervous about-- can I afford this at the end of the day? When it came to talking numbers, Abraham was above board and open to listening to me. Abraham, and the managers, were willing to look at the research I had done and negotiate a price where everyone is happy. Throughout the negotiation process I felt heard and valued. I needed some time to think over their final offer, and they gave me that time without any pestering or pushing. When I decided to move forward with the deal, I got to work with Jordan who is also very helpful and kind. He answered every text and call he got from me with questions about payment, helped me find all the correct paperwork they would need, and then made sure I left with the car in perfect condition. For example-- it didn't have floor mats, and he made sure I left with a nice pair without me asking. I also got to work closely with Ravi, he is an expert on all the contracts and paperwork and was great at explaining everything I signed. There is nothing better than a friendly face to help a monotonous process be enjoyable. Sorry for the novel, but I am blown away by the level of care I received. I we leased 2 vehicles one of which was the Kona Electric. We did not intend to get an electric car but the sales Rep Abraham indicated we would get 3 years of free fast charging through Electrify A Electric. We did not intend to get an electric car but the sales Rep Abraham indicated we would get 3 years of free fast charging through Electrify America so the additional cost would be offset and a decrease in the future. The financial Rep also confirmed and said that we would receive 3 years of free charging. This was a lie we only reciprocated 1 month of free charging. When I went back to the dealer they sent me to call Electrify America who sent me to Hyundai customer service and after hours on the phone they said it was the dealer who missed informed me and I needed to take it up with them. More hours waisted and still no charging and can not get out of my lease without cost. More
