Dealership was dirty and dated. Salesman was great though told me I wouldn’t be able to get a better rate and deal until I applied on my phone through my bank and showed the loan ap Salesman was great though told me I wouldn’t be able to get a better rate and deal until I applied on my phone through my bank and showed the loan approval and rate. The finance department tried to give me something else until I explained they meet or exceed the rate or I would just do the loan with my bank. When I concluded with salesman and went to finance to complete paperwork I was offered and declined gap insurance and extended warranty. He later returned with a better rate and it wasn’t until I arrived home and looked again did I see he disregarded my declination and added in a bronze warranty. This will end up costing me $1200 over the cost of the loan. Whole I was given a lower interest rate the warranty was added on increasing my total cost. I should have looked over the contract better so I take ownership of my part in not catching his little trick. It was shady and underhanded and I’m still considering reporting the business and finance person. More
