This is the third time writing this this system isn't great. First time it was 600 characters, second time 800... However Eric is the best salesman at dch Honda Eatontown. Eric is the most personable, great. First time it was 600 characters, second time 800... However Eric is the best salesman at dch Honda Eatontown. Eric is the most personable, friendly, kind, patience, funny, and all around good guy. It is my second car I bought from Eric and I don't want to buy from anyone else. My first car was a Honda civic post pandemic... he helped me so well I went back when said car was totalled by a 17yo driver who pulled an illegal upturn infront of me. Eric was super helpful even after the accident, by giving me sound advice helping me deal with insurance. The first time I came in I came in with my gf. She didn't understand why I drove past a different Honda dealership to go to a further away one. But Eric graciously helped and me and her for an hour just telling me options look for when the insurance check came in. Eric did everything in his power to help us despite the dealership being hacked. The second time I came in a few days later the internet was down. Even though we had limited resources and looking up anything on the phone with a huge banner that said phones down was obnoxious and covered 2/3rds of the screen he graciously helped me for several hours. We test drove a few cars we could find on the lot and he gave me as much knowledge information about the cars as he could with no resources at hand. We test drove a few cars and I almost bought one but it wasnt the perfect car. Eric didn't pressure us because he knew it wasn't the right car for me. He spent hours helping me and I dint even buy anything. The third time was a charm. We found the perfect car for me it was a Honda civic ex that had the perfect color, right amount of milage, and year. We test drove it and I knew from that point on it was the car for me. Eric helped us get a wonderful deal on the car saving money making me feel comfortable during the whole negotiations process. I was more prepared this time I had a list of cars and while the car I eventually got was not cleaned or certified we test drove and been the buying process that day! The finance guy(terrible with names) was a younger guy my age mid 30s was excellent as well. I wish I knew his name to give him 5 stars as well. But the pictures didn't accurately represent him or he was missing from the list. He when the car was purchased helped me sync my phone to the car because Eric was helping other customers at the time. 5 star service he said he was a salesman before so he could help me so knowledge and friendly. He also didn't make me feel pressured to get anything extra I didn't want. Although extremely knowledge about all the warranties. Also compassionate about my previous car. And didn't force a down-payment while the car was being cleaned and certified. Thank you! All the other salesman in DCH were extremely helpful and friendly as well. Helped me with questions I had while Eric was negotiating on my behalf. We brought the family therapy dog in to help reduce stress but she wasn't needed because your staff is so awesome. My gf knows in the future that we aren't going to another dealership or salesman when we get a bigger car when we have kids. I'm going to drive down to dch Honda and buy that car from Eric! He made me feel super comfortable throughout the whole process. While I hope Eric is retired by then enjoying the outdoors and hikes. I selfishly want to buy it from him because he was so great both times. Thank you Eric and DCH Honda Eatontown for excellent customer service! More
