We were very disappointed with the processes in place at Seguin Chevy. Gracie did well in the beginning, keeping us informed. However, the handling of our vehicle’s repair process was a little disturbing. Our new motor arrived roughly 2 weeks after bringing the vehicle in and GM determining it needed a new motor. We were informed that there were two vehicles to be repaired in front of ours. Vehicle number two went in and had multiple motors swapped out due to inoperable motors received for that vehicle. Each motor took anywhere from a week to two weeks for the install and removal each time. We were informed that our vehicle would be delayed due to the vehicle in front of ours having issues with getting a motor that worked. When I asked why this was, Gracie stated that the technician could not move our vehicle in and start working on it in the interim and that he had to complete the Jeep that was receiving the bad motors before working on ours. I asked if that was the only technician capable or certified to removing and install our motor. We were told no, but if we were assigned to a different technician, we would move to the end of their line. As a owner of multiple businesses, this does not seem to be a viable customer service solution. It was asked and confirmed that in a hypothetical scenario, another person could bring in their vehicle to have the same work done and receive their vehicle sooner than we would receive ours solely based on what technician was assigned the vehicle. Therefore, confirming that vehicles are not or were not being serviced in the order that they were received or that parts were available. Instead, they were being worked on in the order that the assigned technician received the assignments. I would hate to think that Gracie was told to or chose to tell us any untruth about that matter. our motor sat there for weeks because Chevy received in operable motors or motors that were not compatible with the Jeep in front of our Tahoe. If our vehicle cannot be worked on while waiting for another motor, does that technician not get to work during that timeframe? We received our vehicle and the alignment is not aligned properly. The front bumper is not aligned with either side of the front quarter panels. There was grease and debris on the leather of our seat seats and dash. It also appears that there is a cover missing on our motor as well. Also, I would think at the engine motor oil would or should be changed with an engine swap. Ours was not. More
