I recently became a new Mazda owner, purchasing a previously owned 2025 from a souther CA dealer. Shortly after bringing the car to my northern CA home, a headlight malfunction warning appeared. I scheduled an appointment on the app. Upon arriving at the dealer, Andrew Brink, Service Advisor shared that “they would need the car the entire day” and that they didn’t have any loaner vehicles available. We agreed to reschedule for a week later with the understanding I would require a loaner vehicle, as I live 25 miles from the dealer. Mr. Brink asked me to call the day before to confirm availability of a loaner vehicle.upon calling the day before the rescheduled appointment (around 3:30pm) to confirm and ask to add a first service on the vehicle, they said that would be no problem. Mr. Brink then placed me on hold to check availability of a loaner vehicle and returned saying that there weren’t any cars and that I’ll need to call back at 4:30pm. I shared that seemed odd that he was instructing me to manage obtaining a loaner vehicle from the dealer he represented. He disinterestedly stated “that’s how our system works and it’s a separate department”. I called back an hour later and he said that there aren’t any loaner vehicles and that he would have to reschedule the service. I’ve spent the majority of my career in a customer service role and these three difficult conversations raised several red flags for me. Rather than rescheduling, I chose to pursue having my vehicle serviced at another Mazda dealer. Upon calling Maita Mazda, I shared my needs and they scheduled an appointment on the day I wanted, for a specific time, and confirmed they would hold a loaner vehicle for me. No red flags and I feel like a valued new service customer with Maita Mazda. More

My wife and I went to Roseville Mazda today and bought a car. The experience was great, all the employees were wonderful, and even went out of their way to help us when a strange situation came up after we car.
