Trying to decide sell or trade in vehicle I bought a 2015 ford focus in Sept. 2015. In 2017 it need a new clutch. Now at 61,000 it needs another new clutch and this time it is not under recall I bought a 2015 ford focus in Sept. 2015. In 2017 it need a new clutch. Now at 61,000 it needs another new clutch and this time it is not under recall. Since I am at 61000 I am 1000 miles over the warranty and to fix it it will cost 2200. This is the 3rrd clutch in 3 years. The service manager was going to call ford to see if they would work with us to cover some of it. But I told him that is great but I have a car that every 1 1/2 years will need a new clutch and should I look at trade ins. He offered to get a trade in price and contact ford for me. He said they could give a better estimate if I brought it in. I did and ford gave me 8800 and that was more than fair so I went out of there with a 1 year old escape. I was extremely happy with my salesperson, the finance person and the service manager. My brother in law, Doug Isiminger has always recommended ford in coon rapids I bought my ford focus in buffalo and was not happy with service there. They did not even detect I needed a new clutch. Great sales experience and a great deal This is the second Edge we've purchased from North Country Ford with Rick Leyse as our salesman. Rick does a great job, can answer any question and i This is the second Edge we've purchased from North Country Ford with Rick Leyse as our salesman. Rick does a great job, can answer any question and is a straight shooter. The whole experience was stress free. Then there is the fantastic deal. I received an email from Tom Reil that listed the deal and called Rick right away - the dealership forwarded me to Rick's cell phone which he answered while on his way home from work. We set up an appointment with Rick for fist thing the next day. After the call I checked every Ford dealer in the Twin Cities and could not find any deal on a 2018 Edge as good as what North Country was offering. We had purchased an Edge from Rick in 2011 for what we thought was a good deal (about $23,500) our new 2018 Edge was an end of year deal for a slightly lower price than we paid 7 years ago (!!) plus the new SUV has AWD plus some nice new features like a backup camera. We couldn't be more pleased and happy with the entire experience! More
