My wife took our 2023 Kia Sorrento to Horne Kia on 03/13/2026 to have warranty work done on a window shade that wouldn't stay up properly. When she got home she told me she was charged $151.00. When I 03/13/2026 to have warranty work done on a window shade that wouldn't stay up properly. When she got home she told me she was charged $151.00. When I looked at the invoice it showed it was for an oil change and a tire rotation. On 03/11/2026 she just had an oil change done. She never got an estimate at drop off and assumed the window shad wasn't under warranty. She also said the service advisor Christian never went over anything with her after the fact, just pay over there to pickup your vehicle. I called that day and asked to speak with the service manager. The person who answered the phone said they were the service manager and he apologized and said they don't do things like that and they would make it right. He then said and he would need to speak with his manager about this. He said he or someone would call me back. Three and a half days went by with no phone call. I called back again and asked to speak to the service director. The person who answered tells me he'll transfer me and he'll pick right up. Instead I get transferred to a phone that rang 15 or more times with no option for a voicemail. I hung up and called back again, the service line rang several times and then it rolled over to sales. A nice lady answered the call and took the time to ask me what happened. She took down my phone number and email and said she'd walk right over and put this on the service directors desk to call me back. The next day, there's no call again. I went online and looked up who the general manager of the dealership was (Joshua) and found his email. I detailed everything and included both receipts proving the oil change had just been completed two days prior. I left my phone number. No one called me again. I was being super reasonable and patient just wanting to speak with someone and go over this. Of course, no response or call again. I decided I needed to go to the dealership in person. After that I became very irritated that would have to waste my time going to this dealership because no one would call me back. This dealership is 30 minutes away from my house. No customers were there at that moment. I had to walk up to someone to get acknowledged. No greeting whatsoever. I explain to the person sitting there that I would like to speak with the service director. He walks over to this guy sitting in an office. He signals to come over to him. Already pretty rude that he wouldn't come out to me. Right when I walk in he says "what do you need?" Not how can I help you or my name is ______. Super rude already. I introduce myself by shaking his hand and try to break the ice by saying "so are you the person who won't return my calls?" He didn't even tell me his name when he shook my hand. I had to ask him. He then shrugs to my question and right then I realized he knew exactly who I was and was purposely not returning my calls. I then try to start explaining what happened and I was maybe 5 words into it and he said "yeah, yeah your wife isn't getting her money back". As soon as I heard this I at that very minute knew they were misleading people on purpose there and he knew that. I hadn't previously asked for our money back, although that's what I would have asked had I been given the opportunity. In that moment I thought, obviously they don't care about customers or keeping customers, especially this guy who is supposed to be leading the rest of the service department. I was so xxxxxx off at his curt rudeness at that moment I lost my cool, blew up, and cursed him out big time. Which, he absolutely deserved. This could have all been avoided with a simple phone call and them rectifying the situation. However, they won't rectify something they did on purpose. What's really crazy is over $151.00 to rob my wife of unnecessary services, they lost customers. In a few months and we're going to be purchasing 2 fully loaded Tellurides now that they're come in hybrid models. We’ll purchase elsewhere. More

I seldom write reviews, and if I do write a review it’s a good one. However, this dealership is a total SCAM. To start, I purchased a used car from this place because I found an ad online for it. It was my f good one. However, this dealership is a total SCAM. To start, I purchased a used car from this place because I found an ad online for it. It was my first time buying a car on my own, so of course these people were going to try to take advantage of me, so I brought my dad with me. Before I get into detail, while I was waiting for the financing to be approved, someone backed into the rear panel of my car and made a GIANT dent in it. No one said anything and I didn’t notice until I got home the same day. I immediately messaged Josh G my salesman and he was weary thinking that I hit something on my way home and didn’t seem like he believed me. I told them to check their cameras and when I brought the car back to get it fixed they never told me what happened so I assume one of their employees did it. Now trying to get this dent fixed took about a month, they made me drive to the dealership 5 SEPARATE TIMES which is an hour away from me, just for the dent guy to eventually come to me and fix the dent. The last time I drove over there Josh finally felt bad and offered to fill up my gas tank, which I had just filled up before I drove over there. That was the only thing he offered to do for inconveniencing me the whole month. Anyway, while the salesman Josh G was telling us about the car and the ad that we saw, he tries to tell us right from start that there’s an automatic $1,500 “dealership package” that I have to pay for adding to the total price of the car. My dad demanded we didn’t want it and he said it’s not negotiable, it’s their dealership’s policy as to why they priced the car so cheap online. Obviously we can’t argue with that, we believed and trusted he was telling us the truth. Fast forward to signing the paperwork with just Chris (the finance manager) and myself in the room, he is flying through the paperwork, I didn’t get a chance to read anything - plus who reads ALL the fine print on these contracts anyway? I sure as xxxx will be from now on. One of the last things I had to sign, which was on an iPad was talking about their “dealership package” and clearly stated that it was OPTIONAL and was NOT required to purchase a car. The only reason I found that out was because I read reviews online after the fact and read all these horrible reviews. And turns out they scammed me just like every other person who doesn’t read the fine print and trusts the dealership isn’t lying to your face. Next, I initially did my financing through them so I could get the car that day, I then ended up getting my own financing through my bank a couple days later. The loan amount was for more than what it was when I was doing my financing through them and I didn’t catch it until after I made my first payment and realized how much the loan was. I then reached out to Chris and he admitted he messed up and left the GAP insurance on and he should’ve taken it off. So basically he owes me about $1,000. Fast forward, 3 MONTHS LATER and I STILL DON’T HAVE THE MONEY HE OWES ME. First of all, I live about an hour away from this dealership so its not like I can pop in and say where’s my money. Chris dragged me on for literally 3 months making excuses as to why my bank hasn’t gotten the check. I called around TEN TIMES to ask to speak to the general manager who conveniently is “in a meeting” EVERY TIME YOU CALL. And they ask to leave a message and for him to call you back and of course he doesn’t because he knows people are pissed off at the scam business he is running. My dad and I finally drove out of our way to go tell these people they owe me money and where is it but we still didn’t get it. They said it will be here in a couple days but I don’t believe anything they say. If possible AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AND THEIR SCAMS. It’s unfortunate there are people like this in the world and made my first car buying experience AWFUL. If I could give zero stars I would. More

I am very disappointed with the treatment of this Car Dealer. After having filled out the complete form with all my information online and several attempts to speak with a sales person, I requested a quo Dealer. After having filled out the complete form with all my information online and several attempts to speak with a sales person, I requested a quote to buy a KIA Forte and they would not help me unless I ran my credit. The Manager's policy is that they do not make quotes if you do not run your credit because they do not like to waste time. More

BAIT AND SWITCH!! I went in to buy a car I found advertised online for a certain price. They would not sell me the car for that price! Instead, they tried to make me pay about $1400 more because o advertised online for a certain price. They would not sell me the car for that price! Instead, they tried to make me pay about $1400 more because of "dealer ad-on" items that you can't verify they even did, like "paint protection". Don't advertise the "price" of the car if you won't sell it for that! On top of that, I came in already pre-approved with my own financing. Then they tried to talk me into their financing which was a full percentage point higher than what I was already approved for! When I asked for the managers name who would not honor the internet advertised price, they refused to give it to me. So I was forced to mark all sales dept. with 1 star because it won't let me submit a review without picking one. Waste of time! #shady #rundontwalkaway More

I communicated back and forth with a salesperson from this location, confirmed what I had been offered elsewhere and what I was looking for. I was reassured numerous times that the deal was “good to go”. Once again, before I took the afternoon off work, drove 40 minutes to the dealership I was told “yes, we can make that work” When I arrived and got the process going I was shown my payment - $85 more PER MONTH than anywhere else and not at all what I was promised. I even showed them my communication of what I was promised and they still said “I needed to be willing to give a little” No, they didn’t agree to MSRP as promised. Later, after my afternoon was wasted I was told they could come down on price”. Which means I walked in thinking I had an agreement and they still tried to screw me. This is where car dealerships get a bad name. If you want any sort of ethics, stay far away from any Horne dealership More

After the test drive they tried have me confirm my loan online with my bank before telling me the final price. They stalled on giving me the price a few times. Finally, when they came with the total price and it was $8,000 more than the price we discuss, $6,000 of which were dealer added fees. They said they could try and get a few thousand knocked off, but it was still about $3-$4k in mandatory fees(basically dealer add ons).....all of this on a used car. I told them I would pay 10% more than the price they originally offered, but they "could not make that work". My salesman seemed like a nice guy, but overall it felt like they were trying to put one over on me. Also, no one offered me water (110 degree day) until after I went and got a cup my self after waiting in the lobby for 10 mins and several sales people asking me if I'd been helped yet. More

The salesperson who greeted my upon my arrival was Roxana Everett with a smile on her face. That smile never left: she was as pleasant as can be throughout the showing of the car. I liked the car, and during the negotiation process Barbara Bloss joined us. While businesslike, Barbara was equally pleasant. Yes, I bought the car, never once feeling any pressure to buy. I've been buying cars for over 50 years, and I can't recall any better experience! I live over 50 miles from Horne, but when it's time to buy another Kia, I'll bypass closer dealerships and return to Roxana, Barbara, and Horne. More
