unfortunate transaction traded for vehicle, it arrived with a cracked windshield, and within days of driving it the car immediately had mechanical problems(and other items ne traded for vehicle, it arrived with a cracked windshield, and within days of driving it the car immediately had mechanical problems(and other items needing repair/replacement, brakes etc) I asked for a refund early-on after I found out the problems were so extensive, but they refused(via email). In fact, Vehicle had such an extensive problem that local dealership has kept it for the 2 months I've owned it trying to solve problem, I finally had to trade vehicle in for another. I was lucky my local dealer provided me with a loaner or I wouldn't have had a car to drive for 2 months. Problems will occur with used vehicles to be sure, but its how you handle the customer after the sale that counts. This dealership's management is essentially unreachable by phone-and there is no support after the sale. You take your chances with used cars on ebay but when buying from a dealer with such an extensive used vehicle checklist, support staff,etc they advertise I expected better service More

I bought my 2016 Ford F250 Platinum via internet research and emails. Salesman Robbie Jones knows the Ford product lines thoroughly and provided the most responsive and accurate information and service that I've had in 45 years of buying vehicles. His numbers were right on the spot including my trade-in value. My truck was ready when promised and I drove away in an hour totally satisfied with my experience. I drove from the coast of South Carolina to make the deal. Not only did I get a great deal, I also got to see great views of this beautiful country. If you are in the market for a Ford, I highly recommend Robbie Jones and Vernon Auto Group. This was definitely a great buying experience well worth the effort! A more thorough breakdown of the rebates are needed especially for non financing customers. Also, the negotiated price discussed before the delivery process was different than the one presented during signing. The difference was in the registration fee. Not a real big deal, but enough to give me a negative vibe. Other than above, the team was great and I will contact this dealership again when I am ready for another vehicle. More

Eventually, I located one that fit the criteria I was looking for and found that the price indicated on the Vernon Auto Group website was actually LOWER than what the Ford site indicated the price would be. I was contacted promptly by Lee Bodine and he verified the features of the vehicle and the offered price. He was very helpful answering any questions, working through the purchase process, and also helped to arrange delivery to my front door. Keep up the good work! More

Great website + Great Salesman Lee Bodine = Great experience We bought our latest vehicle an F-350 Ford Lariat crew cab, a few weeks ago from Lee Bodine at Vernon Auto Group in Vernon, TX. We live in Durham, NC We bought our latest vehicle an F-350 Ford Lariat crew cab, a few weeks ago from Lee Bodine at Vernon Auto Group in Vernon, TX. We live in Durham, NC and we found Vernon Auto Group, when we were searching online for a F-350 for our plumbing company. We were impressed by their website, because it was so easy for us to search, navigate and find the sales price all in one place, whereas most other websites had comments like call for price or see salesman for details. With the final sales price listed on the Vernon Auto a Group website, all we had to to was call the dealership and speak to Lee Bodine for the details about the truck and details about the purchase. We flew from Raleigh/ Durham, NC to Dallas/ Ft Worth, TX on a Friday night and the truck was delivered to our hotel in Grapevine, TX on Saturday morning, then we drove the new truck back to North Carolina over the weekend. By the way, the hospitality at Vernon Auto Group was was above what we were accustomed to, simply put, they were easy to do business with and that means everything to us. By the way, if you choose to go to Vernon Auto Group, check out some great Texas Bar-B-Q while visiting Texas, its outstanding. We made a weekend trip flying down and driving back, we bought a great truck Ford F-350, from a great Ford dealership and had some outstanding meals all the way home in Texas, Arkansas, Tennessee and North Carolina. We highly recommend Vernon Auto Group. More

Worst experience buying a car in the 11 cars I have bought. I have bought 11 new cars in the last 38 years - Vernon is the WORST experience I have ever had. They are kind and courteous but don't follow through I have bought 11 new cars in the last 38 years - Vernon is the WORST experience I have ever had. They are kind and courteous but don't follow through on any of the details and when you try to get an answer they are always just sitting and waiting for someone else to do something instead of taking the bull by the horns and driving the issue to resolution. Yes I got a good price and we love the vehicle but the headaches of trying to get all of the issues completed just consumed my time instead of them taking care of business. More
