Purchased my F-350 Turbo Diesel (King Ranch) in The Color and Option Level I wanted, changed Tires and added a few accessories, and the Group handled everything really well. Flew from New York to Texas Late Sunday Evening. Was picked up in Dallas/Ft.Worth and Driven to the Dealership 175 miles away. Tyler took me to pick-up the truck a few Blocks away and He and Ashley explained options and services. Jr. Handled several different area's of the Process. I went ahead and searched the website. I found exactly what I wanted!!!. I've never owned a Ford. Smoothest ride and I love all the bells and whistles. Scott Young helped me with the sale and was able to get me everything I asked for. I would absolutely recommend The Vernon Group to anyone looking to buy a truck. Brandon Mitchell, Ashley Hernandez Purchased a new Chevy Siverado Diesel pick up from Vernon, Brandon was my first contact after looking through they're Ebay store, Very hard to find tr Purchased a new Chevy Siverado Diesel pick up from Vernon, Brandon was my first contact after looking through they're Ebay store, Very hard to find truck where I live and Brandon let me know he had one that wasn't listed yet as it was being put in dealer inventory as we spoke, He sent me pictures of it in the truck lot still wrapped up and packaged, I spoke with him about Price, was very easy after seeing the Sticker on the window, He sent me daily progress pictures of the truck and helped with the shipping, All in all very smooth and excellent communication over the course of 5 days, He sent me all the paperwork which I covered with Ashley, She also kept in touch through email as progress was made, I sent it back overnight and the truck was ready to go, He also kept checking on the delivery of the truck, Sent me pictures of it loaded so i was able to see condition when it left and followed up when it arrived, Brandon and Ashley are an asset to Vernon Auto Group and a great employees to work with. absolutely buying again! Great people, great purchase experience, terrible truck I worked with Chase when we bought our 2014 Ram 2500 Laramie Longhorn Cummins 4x4 this summer and it was a fantastic purchase experience. The process I worked with Chase when we bought our 2014 Ram 2500 Laramie Longhorn Cummins 4x4 this summer and it was a fantastic purchase experience. The process was quick and transparent, with everything negotiated before our drive up from Fort Worth. Once there, we met with Ashley in Finance (at the time) and were pleasantly surprised when the numbers actually worked out to be less than I had agreed to over the phone. Like I said, these are great people, and the experience of buying with them was the best I've had. Unfortunately, the experience I have had with our new Ram 2500 has been far from pleasant. I was absolutely in love with the truck the day we picked it up and drove it back down to Fort Worth, but things have quickly gone downhill during our ownership. From a plethora of squeaks and rattles (seriously, there's someone typing out War and Peace on an old Hermes typewriter in my dash or under the hood - we can't find them) and poor paint quality (stay away from silver - very unevenly applied) to issues much more concerning. I've had violent, coffee-spilling shudders on deceleration courtesy of the transmission and frightening moments of cold-start surging that nearly caused me to hit another vehicle. I've never had such a terrible experience in ownership. The thing is, the folks at Vernon really seem to care. I've been working with a local dealership on my many service visits and I have not been impressed with the effort they have put forth in getting things resolved. Though I can't take my truck to Vernon for service, they still seem anxious to help me find a suitable resolution, and I'm confident that we will get there, thought it may take their help. Vernon are good people doing honest work. More
