A couple weeks ago I decided it was time to start the process of getting my next car. I wanted to get another Toyota Hybrid and the two choices I was considering were the Camry and Corolla, my first choi process of getting my next car. I wanted to get another Toyota Hybrid and the two choices I was considering were the Camry and Corolla, my first choice being the Camry in either Red or Blue. I sat down with my sales consultant, Awring Ahmed, who I had worked with when I bought my current 2021 Camry a few years ago. It was most likely going to take about six months to find a hybrid. On Saturday (8/12) I had an appointment to get the 30,000 maintenance done on my current Camry. While there, I went over to the showroom to look at the two vehicles they had on display while I was waiting for my car over in service. I checked the inventory currently available and found a blue 2024 Toyota Camry right there on the lot and it had a sun roof! Something I have wanted in a car for over 50 years is a sun roof. The car is not a hybrid. But it still only took about 20 minutes for me to decide that I found my new car. I waited around for the showroom to open and for Awring to arrive. When she did, I explained that I had decided not to wait for a hybrid and in fact, "I had found my new car right there on the lot and would like to buy it today." This was the second time I worked have with Awring and both times it was a real pleasure to do so. She and her fellow team members there at Suburban Toyota all did fantastic work and in a few hours I was on my way home with my brand new Blue Toyota Camry SE with a sunroof! More
