I would expect when you go to a dealership that they would properly diagnose the problem with your vehicle, not tell you one thing and agree to repairs and then after the fact when the problem is not so would properly diagnose the problem with your vehicle, not tell you one thing and agree to repairs and then after the fact when the problem is not solved tell you now need another thing to repair the problem.
