2016 Ford Edge Titanium - purchase with trade-in After careful research, I traded in my 2006 Acura MDX for a 2016 Ford Edge Titanium AWD with Sync 3 and 2.0L EcoBoost. I had owned the Acura for 6 ye After careful research, I traded in my 2006 Acura MDX for a 2016 Ford Edge Titanium AWD with Sync 3 and 2.0L EcoBoost. I had owned the Acura for 6 years. Both vehicles are fully loaded with options. I had been favoring higher end imports in the past., (We also own a 2013 BMW 535xi.) But this new Edge has made a Ford believer in me. It is loaded with electronics. Sync 3 has an intuitive touch screen display with zero lag on response. The automatic map refresh in the Navigation (GPS) screen is extremely fast. The features and options in this Edge compare favorably with a new high end Acura MDX. The only things missing are the 3rd row seats (which I don't need) and the much higher price of the MDX. Bernie Krowczyk was my sales guy and Ricky Stout was the manager in my transaction. I normally don't enjoy car shopping but their experience and attention to detail made this a smooth and very easy transaction. Bernie has been around and knows the business. He worked hard to meet my price and make the deal happen. I ordered the Edge in 2015 before the 2016 model year assembly had begun. Bernie kept me informed on the progress of my vehicle. When the car arrived at the dealership, they prepped and turned it around the same day. Finance was easy. I worked with Jeff Winters in Finance who quickly found a bank that offered a very favorable rate. I have owned and driven the Edge for 3 weeks now. Ride is smooth as silk. It has style and good looks. The mpg is great. It looks good in my garage next to the BMW. Even my foreign car friends are wowed. I am glad that I opened my mind to Ford and that Bernie, Ricky, Jeff, and Anderson Rock River Ford, were there to make this excellent new car experience happen. More

From my first time into the sales room to the last time I drove away in my new 2016 escape , I was treated with kindness, courtesy, patience, knowledge, and the utmost professionalism. The combination of these attributes is what makes Bernie not only a special salesperson but a special person to have in your life. While he evokes trust and respect in his customers with his warmth and caring as well as his intelligence and expertise, he also has this keen sense of politeness and deference and Professional demeanor in relating to his customers/clients. He would make the perfect mentor or example to the customer service/Human relations novice!!! I guess I am saying that ford would do well to wish to "clone" Mr. Krowczyk. I have recommended him obviously to all my family and friends. Also I feel that I can return to him in the future with any questions or concerns about my vehicle This is so comforting when one makes such a large financial investment. Speaking of finances, I also had great experiences dealing with Mike (mikey) and Greg as to the financing of the vehicle--what a pleasure to have everything explained clearly and carefully. My entire experience was very very excellent and it was definitely because of these people. I cannot thank them or compliment them enough. It was and is a privilege to have worked with them. More

He was friendly and caring throughout our many visits, and I never felt pressured. I'm extremely pleased with our Ford, and attribute a lot of that to Bernie's listening skills, knowledge, and attention to details. He made a tough decision pleasurable, and really cared that we were happy. I feel we got a very fair price and excellent service. Everyone I met at Rock River Block was friendly and pleasant. Jim Hood is the manager of the preparation and detail department. The service received was excellent in every way. No pressure. I consider the sales team to be more of assistants rather than sales people. Jim Hood and his people did an excellent job. They all wanted to be sure that the customer is more than satisfied and has a smile rather than a frown. Great job by all. It was not our first purchase with the Anderson group, but was with Rock River Ford. It will not be the last. We will be making another purchase very soon, and more in the future.
