Amazing Purchase Experience!! Excellent Experience at Valley Honda Naperville/Aurora Bill was excellent to work with! Very Best Car Buying Experience I have bought many cars before, but this last experience dealing with both Nick and Bill was unsurpassed. From the moment I walked into the showroom, I have bought many cars before, but this last experience dealing with both Nick and Bill was unsurpassed. From the moment I walked into the showroom, I knew this experience wold be different--from the flowers on the reception desk to the friendliness of the staff. My fiance and I had been given Nick's name from a relative who worked with Nick at a previous dealership, and found he was most pleasant and cordial. He indicated he would hand us off to Bill who would learn more about what we were looking for and acquaint us with the dealership. Bill was the most patient, friendly, and non-pressure sales consultant I have ever dealt with. He was thorough, explaining the features of the car I originally wanted, which was a CRV. We test drove one and liked it. Back on the showroom floor, I saw a white Honda Accord with tan and black interior. I loved the interior and the comfort of the seating. I also liked that the driver's seat when raised allowed me an expanse of vision I have not had in the sedans I have recently been in. He suggested we test drive one and asked if I preferred a 4 or 6 cylinder., Since the 4 cylinder had a great mileage rating, I suggested we drive that one rather than the 6 cylinder. I was so impressed with the way it drove and handled as well as the features this car had that the CRV did not have. I was so surprised how peppy the acceleration was and had no idea that a 4 cylinder would react that way. Anyway, during the ride, he pointed out the features and how they worked. The right turn camera is amazing! Later on, Bill provided the price on both vehicles and reviewed the features that each one had. He also provided information on the dealer installed options as well as a pricing sheet. I was very specific about the options that I wanted, which included a navigation system, and Bill noted that he did not have what I wanted in stock, but would be able to get one from another dealer. I just had to make up my mind, which car i wanted the CRV or the Accord. We left the dealership, and I stated that I would call Bill by the next day with a decision. I called him that evening, and asked him to find a white Accord. He called within a day and a half and said he located one and he would go to retrieve it. The next day he called to indicate he had the car and i could pick it up either Friday evening or Saturday morning. I elected Saturday, and he was there explaining the transfer process very clearly. He immediately showed us the vehicle, and it is beautiful. The detail manager had just completed readying the car for delivery and Bill went through the delivery checklist. I have never been treated so well or had such detailed information provided about a car and the services of the dealership, including a walk-through of the service department. Bill is a great sales person, who takes an interest in his customers. In fact I am a former corporate trainer, and Bill demonstrates the best practices of an outstanding sales person. Thanks, Bill, for an unforgettable experience, and I will be sure to recommend him and the dealership to anyone I know interested in purchasing a vehicle. As an aside, Molly in the Business Office completed the financial details of the transaction, and she was very perky, thorough, and took a personal interest in my fiance and me. We appreciate dealing with all aspects of this dealership! More

Bill Terhorst from Valley Honda gave me the best price in Chicago area, no other Honda dealer could match it. It was well below invoice price. Bill is knowledgeable, professional, friendly, funny, and speedy. I don't like salespeople in general, especially on cars, but Bill treats you as a friend or family. He's honest and a straight shooter.... not pushy. I would refer all my friends to him. I bought a new Honda Accord and shopped around on the internet. Since it was a new car, I emailed and called over 10 dealers around the Chicago area, Wisconsin, and central Illinois. Valley Honda had the best price by far. We are in Glenview so we wanted to make it worth the trip. I tried to get local dealers to price match their written quote, but they said "there's no way Valley Honda can give you that price" Well they did and I was in and out in about 1 hour with a new car, new plates, everything. Greatest car shopping experience ever! More

Last Monday I was at the Lisle Honda...they treated me terribly and wouldn't even discuss numbers with me "until I was ready to buy". This led to me walking right out. I knew I still wanted to purchase terribly and wouldn't even discuss numbers with me "until I was ready to buy". This led to me walking right out. I knew I still wanted to purchase a Honda, but I knew that no one at the Lisle Honda deserved commission from my sale. Instead, I decided to drive the extra 15 minutes over to Valley Honda. I was greeted kindly by Bill Terhorst and treated with the utmost respect. Bill listened to my needs, respected my budget, and took time to really get to know me and what I wanted. He did not play games with my budget, instead he did all he could to get my monthly payment into a range that I could afford. He consistently showed his expertise in the car sales world, while still being incredibly personable and helpful. Thank you for everything and for providing me with an affordable, safe, first brand new car! It has been a pleasure working with you! More

We arrived at Valley Honda expecting an aggressive, overly-eager salesperson to meet us before we were even all the way through the door (based on past experience at other dealerships) and were immedia overly-eager salesperson to meet us before we were even all the way through the door (based on past experience at other dealerships) and were immediately greeted by Bill Terhorst. Bill was very calm and friendly and right away we noticed our nerves were calming down. Bill personally took us around the lot after telling him what we were looking for. He methodically pointed out the features of the car, but did so in non-boastful way. Bill frequently made sure to ask if we had any questions. When it came time to buy it was a very smooth process. Bill kept us informed of every detail and charge so we knew exactly what we were paying for. Soon thereafter we drove away in our brand new Accord EX and we couldn't be happier. I highly recommend Valley Honda and, based on experience, working with Bill Terhorst. More

This is the second auto purchase we've made from Valley Honda and from Bill. We had such a great experience with Bill a few years ago that we went out of our way to visit Valley Honda for this purc Valley Honda and from Bill. This time we were researching mini vans and were not sure if we wanted to purchase a Honda or Toyota (we had a Sienna). Bill provided excellent information about the Odyssey and we were impressed. We did some research on our own a few weeks after first meeting with Bill. Bill was incredibly responsive to his emails - we communicated a lot during the "research" time frame. In the end, we decided to go with the Odyssey and went in the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend to purchase, an incredibly busy time for a car dealership. We worked with Bill to finalize pricing and value our trade in. Bill was able to meet our budget requirements which we didn't think would be possible! On this busy Saturday, Bill had some other clients come in, and rather than make us all wait, he brought Jack into help finalize our sale. This really impressed us - Bill's willingness to put the client first and have another salesperson involved. We started working with Jack on the credit application process. He was so professional and friendly. He also took us out for a test drive of the actual van we purchased and showed us some of the technical features including the voice recognition. He clearly knew his stuff! After the test drive, we had to leave for a few hours to take our kids to a birthday party. Jack gave us his cell and asked us to call when we were on our way back so he would be ready for us. He also informed us that finalizing the purchase would probably take some time since it was a Saturday evening of a holiday weekend and it would be busy. We appreciated that information - we picked up dinner for our kids so they could eat while we were waiting and also brought things along for them to do. When we returned Jack met with us and got our sale into the process. He continued to check in with us to provide the status and expressed concern over the wait. Fortunately his good communication all along set our expectations on waiting and we were pleased with the experience. Our experience with the business office was also excellent. The woman we worked with was professional, friendly and answered all of our questions. Next up was delivery, which Bill assisted us with. He helped get the customizable features setup on the van and answered any questions we had. Finally, we were impressed with the follow up of Valley Honda. The next day after purchase, Jack called and texted us to check in on our mini van, to be sure everything was good. We were impressed with the follow up! Very thoughtful. In summary, we LOVE Valley Honda and highly recommend both Bill Terhorst and Jack Davis! Thank you for another amazing experience. More
