I started my research for a new car about six weeks ago and decided the 2013 Accord was the best fit for me. I did an online search and had five local dealers provide pricing for my car. All five responded and decided the 2013 Accord was the best fit for me. I did an online search and had five local dealers provide pricing for my car. All five responded initially, and then three of the five dropped off. Of the two remaining dealerships, only one - Valley Honda's salesman, Bill Terhorst, stayed in the game. The other one sent automated inquiries. Initially, I battered Bill with questions pertaining to the Accord as I am a first time Honda owner. Bill quickly answered all my questions and engaged other departments (finance and service) to assist me. But the most pleasant experience was the quality of the quote Bill provided. It was not a weak quote to get the discussion started, but was a serious and final quote that was superior to all the other ones. In fact I had to ask Bill even more questions because I thought for sure something was missing. We closed the deal based on this great quote. My family and I finally met Bill on April 27. The moment we walked into the dealer, we knew we were in the right place and the anxiety level dropped a notch or two. Bill and the rest of the Valley Honda staff greeted us warmly and within moments, Bill took us outside to look at the new Accord. Bill explained the car in detail and took us for a test drive. Afterwards, he made sure we understood his dealership was behind us all the way by taking us on a tour of this fabulous dealership. We knew then we would be buying a car tonight. My family and I decided on a Basque Red Accord EX with the 2.4L 4-cyl. Bill did not have one in inventory that day but worked to find one on April 29. We closed the deal on April 30. In summary, this was my first new car in 21 years and my first Honda. My experience with Bill Terhorst and the rest of the Valley Honda staff made this purchase a pleasure and a memorable one. I went to the dealership as I was considering a new car and liked the Honda I currently owned. Joe Barsalona met me at the door, listened to what features I was looking for and took me around the showroom and liked the Honda I currently owned. He was patient, took his time to show and let me ask questions and ponder the choices. He set me up with a test drive of the new Honda Crosstour. I wanted to make sure my husband liked the car also, so left that day, planning to return later. I brought my husband to test drive cars at 3 different dealerships. He was as comfortable and pleased with the service as I was. Joe was delivering a vehicle to another customer, so asked Bill to work with us. Bill found us a Crosstour to test drive and answered our questions. By the end of the day I knew I wanted to purchase a Crosstour, so called and made an appointment with Joe to set everything in motion. He offered information about dealer add-ons but was not pressuring me to purchase; he just offered information and perspective. I just took delivery of my car two days ago. So far, I love it! Joe called today to see how I liked it and if I had any questions for him. I really appreciate the attention and concern that I get a good car and dealer experience. He made me feel like it 'really was about the customer." More

My husband, John, and I visited Valley Honda shortly after Christmas and knew exactly what we wanted to do: buy a 2013 Fit Sport w/manual transmission and trade my 2004 Camry as part of the deal. We worked with Bill Terhorst from that first visit. Bill found the car I wanted (color and all) and while it was not in stock, it was scheduled to arrive in mid-January. We made the deal! Then, Bill sent me almost daily emails telling me where my Fit was in its journey across the country. I so appreciated those updates. The final email arrived last Friday telling me that the car was in (earlier than expected!) John and I went in Saturday morning to pick it up. Unfortunately, Bill was ill so Jeremy Andrews was assigned to finalize our transaction. Jeremy was every bit as knowledgeable and helpful as Bill. In conclussion, this is the second car we have purchased at Valley and we do not have loyalty to a single dealer. John investigates the dealers who are willing to deal even on the most highly desireable models. In 2008 that was Valley Honda and in 2012-13 it was Valley Honda again. More

We recently purchased a new Honda Fit (Sport) for our daughter. We had an excellent experience with this dealership. We worked with Bill Terhorst who made the process quite painless. He definitely knows what "excellent" customer service means. I would highly recommend this dealership and working with Bill! I should also mention that we were there on the busiest day of the year and despite all the people in that show room, Bill didn't rush or pressure us through the process. He took his time in explaining everything and answering all our questions. Further, after we made the purchase he took time out to make sure that we could get pictures of our daughter with her new car and the big bow! He allowed us to take our time which was really incredible in light of all the other potential sales in the building that day. The owner of the dealership also came out to greet us and as we were leaving he went through the car to make sure everything was perfect. I don't think you could find a better sales person to work with or a better dealership! We are extremely happy with our purchase and are delighted to be part of the the Valley Honda family! We can't wait to go back to get our accessories and work with the service department!! More

My experience at Valley Honda was GREAT! I have never had a more enjoyable and easy sales process . Everything was simple due to working with both Dan Pantalone and Bill Terhorst. They helped me through every step of buying my new CR-V. They were incredibly helpful and attentive and even took an extra long time to teach me how to work my new navigation system. I was quite pleased with the customer service I received from Valley Honda employees. I appreciate the no nonsense approach. We had the pleasure of purchasing a minivan from Bill. We had spoken with once about what we were looking for, and they did not have anything at the moment. But a short time later they got one in, and Bill remembered we were looking and gave us a call. It was exactly what we wanted, for the price we needed. He not only was courteous and friendly in selling us a car, he went above and beyond to help us find the right one, even though they did not have it at first. Then, 18 months later, our van was totaled! We called Bill again, and again he was on the lookout for us, finding us just what we needed for the price we needed. We have now had the opportunity to work with Bill twice to purchase a used van, and have had excellent experiences both times. In addition, Bill has followed up with us to ensure that everything is going well, even calling to wish me a happy birthday! With Bill and Valley Honda, we feel like we are getting a good vehicle for a good price from a good person. We'll definitely be going back here again! More

Our sales consultant, Bill Terhorst, went above and beyond what would be expected of any sales consultant in helping us orchestrate a surprise gift of a Fit. He personally delivered the car to rest beyond what would be expected of any sales consultant in helping us orchestrate a surprise gift of a Fit. He personally delivered the car to restaurant, put a big bow on it than texted as to when it was "safe" to come out. He even video taped the big surprise! Kudo's to the dealership for locating the car in the color we wanted and getting it to the dealership in time for the big surprise. We were so impressed with Bill that even though we had an offer at another dealership of 140.00 less for the car we gave Bill the sale and couldn't have been happier with our decision. More

I just purchased a 2010 Honda Civic @ Valley Honda in Aurora. Bill Terhorst was excellent at showing me options in my price range that met all my specific needs. He understood that I wanted a relatively new, low-mileage, fuel-effecient, practical, nice looking, low maintenance and easy-to-drive vehicle. He only showed me cars that met these specs & didn't try to steer me towards pricier, fancier ones or on models that didn't meet all my criteria. I highly recommend Bill if you are even thinking of purchasing a new or used car. I have had my car for a whole week now & each day I realize what a great decision he helped me make. For a 1st time car buyer, I was nervous but Bill thoroughly explained the entire process, assisted in meeting my budget, answered all my questions about using this car, & has even followed up with me this week to inquire if I had further questions or concerns about my Honda. I can strongly recommend Bill Terhorst at Valley Honda! More
