Buying a car from Elkins during COVID-19 social distancing Elkins people handled our needs with excellence and ease. They were very aware of our needs in the new vehicle. Similar to the front line people wor Elkins people handled our needs with excellence and ease. They were very aware of our needs in the new vehicle. Similar to the front line people working at supermarkets and hospitals they had set up procedures and locations on the lot so as to keep contact down to a bare minimum. "Almost like ordering takeout from a restaurant". Bob Borman handled the questions and negotiations by text and emails, he was prompt, informative and attentive. The test drives were all set up with the car cleaned, protection coverings in place and distanced from people contact. We felt very safe. Their Tech guy, Mike Bilbow was very informative, he helped explain some of the features and gave us his contact info so we can continually ask questions . This is the 2nd car we've purchased there and have come to know and trust them. We have two Colorado's and this new blazer fits right in, It's very stylish and has great power. In these trying times the experience was handled with caution, safety and excellence. More

We had a great experience at Elkins Chevrolet. It started with Russ & Bob working with us, trying to give us the best deal on an Equinox. My husband really liked the Blazer and Adam encouraged us to drive th with Russ & Bob working with us, trying to give us the best deal on an Equinox. My husband really liked the Blazer and Adam encouraged us to drive the Blazer. Once we drive it, we were sold! We walked out of there with a beautiful new sporty Blazer. Quick summary of my car buying experience up until I got in contact with the folks here. Had been shopping around for a while for a Camaro 2SS Manual. Had travelled around the northeast to dealers and auto sales in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, etc. Had a pretty surprising experience at these other locations. THEY WERE HORRIBLE. In New York, my home state, they wouldn't even acknowledge my existence. Showed little interest in even conversing. The other dealers either misrepresented the car... BIG TIME. Or they just dropped off the face of the planet while trying to work on a deal. The folks at Elkins though were absolutely AWESOME. Hands down. From remaining in contact with me from initial contact through getting ready to make a road trip there, they made me feel like they wanted to do business. And even beyond that, they made me feel welcome. Very personable. Very fair. Vehicle is great. Went above and beyond. I could go on and on about the experience but I can tell it's getting a bit long. To Russell, Bob, and the whole crew at Elkins: I have to say thank you for making it one xxxx of great experience and I know who I will be going to when I look for my next vehicle. Much appreciated! More

Extremely disappointed after 15 years of buying and leasing from Elkins. My advise is go somewhere else. They will smile and shake your Hand while the rip you off!!!! I would have given them 0 stars but you can’t....please do not waste your time and hard earned money at Elkins!!!! Bob is a thief and Jeff let it happen! Update 3/11. Got a phone call this evening from Elkins (a SR Employee) which shows that the company is watching and listening to its customers. In today’s world, that means a lot. It also Speaks volumes for the power of one person using platforms available to him or her to effect change. Social media can be very helpful at times. With that said, No one should feel like my wife and I do. Almost like our loyalty meant nothing. To be completely honest, there was some red flags that I missed as well. I take full responsibility for missing them. However, when you have a great relationship with a business, those can be easily overlooked. Now about the conversation. It was informative and respectful on both sides. I am still disappointed, but most of the blame will be with the salesman, Jeff Schor. We were expecting more from him and he wasn’t listening. He put profit and a speedy deal over loyalty and respect to the customer. Ultimately, Elkins is responsible because they employ him, so I continued to listen to this Sr Employee who wanted to make it right. I’m glad he tried, because although there was nothing he could do for us now, he would use the information to better the dealership. My wife and I will stay positive and return this lease to Elkins, not to another dealer. At that time, I will give Elkins every opportunity to get my business back. I think that a company who responds this quickly to a bad review and is willing to not only listen, but ask for another chance, deserves a second look. It’s what they do with the second chance that will tell what this dealership is truly made of. In January, 2024, I will post a follow up review. hopefully this time it will be a great one. I will also finish with a lesson I leaned here. Do your research with several dealerships, even if you have only dealt with one for a long time. Never expect to be treated well because you are a return customer, even one that has a long history with a company like Elkins. Be suspicious and ask as many questions as you want. If they don’t answer or blow you off, go somewhere else, they don’t deserve your business. Never let the finance guy talk you out of anything because he’s not the one paying the bill. I hope this helps people who read this in the future. If one person gets treated fairly, with respect, and gets a good fair deal then it makes this worth it. More
