Good Service I had brought my car in for an oil change . Rear brake pads, rotors, calipers, wheel bearing, oil change I called on Monday before New Years and they had me come in at 7:30 on New Years's eve day. I brought in my car and they were able to give me a compl I called on Monday before New Years and they had me come in at 7:30 on New Years's eve day. I brought in my car and they were able to give me a complimentary ride home. The job was done and I came back at 4:30 the same day and got my car back. Everyone was friendly and the work was done properly. It was expensive but I'm told that what was done was expensive from other people. I felt the price was fair. Likely not be back for service To begin, I came in for the oil change with tire rotation special $40 offer. When I arrived I specifically asked to have the antifreeze topped off. W To begin, I came in for the oil change with tire rotation special $40 offer. When I arrived I specifically asked to have the antifreeze topped off. When I later took the time to review the paperwork, the tech never marked that he even looked at the level of antifreeze. I knew it was about empty walking in and had to fill it myself after my visit to Columbia Ford. The tech also marked off that all of my lights are fully functional. Again, he didn't look at the car because he would have noticed both parking lights and license plate light were out and I would have had them replace. He also stated my tires need to be replaced and marked that they are in the yellow zone, therefore he decided himself that it wasn't worth it to rotate them because the service desk would be talking me into new tires. When I cashed out, that gentleman told me my tires were in the red and there was zero tread left, as if I wouldn't be looking at them myself to see this was all wrong. The tires have used tread in their 18 months but they are clearly not bald. Regardless of when I plan to purchase new tires, a rotation is what I asked for and a rotation should have been completed. Neither the service desk nor the technician obviously cared to even look at my car in the manner of the paperwork they handed me and therefore I will likely not be returning for any services unless it's a basic free of charge recall. I also waited over an hour for this nonsense before I had to find out myself if the car was finished. No one thought it was necessary to leave the desk and find the 8 month pregnant woman uncomfortably waiting just around the corner. More

Just check your owner's manual first! I called the Ford Dealer for an appointment to do scheduled 40K service on my Escape. When I dropped off the vehicle I was told several items were re I called the Ford Dealer for an appointment to do scheduled 40K service on my Escape. When I dropped off the vehicle I was told several items were recommended at 40K. Subsequently when I checked the owner's manual the transmission flushing was not due for over 100K more miles and a filter wasn't due for another 40K. Fool me once- next time I will make sure I read the manual and not rely on "Ford Dealer Service recommendation". I should have been informed about what was recommended by the manufacturer. More

Always above and beyond! I've had a couple good mechanics before, but Columbia Kia reaches 6 stars on every scale!!! From customer service and friendliness, to mechanical ser I've had a couple good mechanics before, but Columbia Kia reaches 6 stars on every scale!!!
