If I could rate this facility a 0, I would. I've taken my car to the Honda at the Avenues in Jacksonville twice and had a poor experience both times. I've been treated as less than human at thi I've taken my car to the Honda at the Avenues in Jacksonville twice and had a poor experience both times. I've been treated as less than human at this facility while most of the staff just look at you, smile, don't care, and say cash or credit? Good luck getting them to explain to you what on earth they did with your car for three days and why you just paid $919. I understand if it costs x,y,z. But when someone can’t even tell me what was done, that is an issue. If the treatment and lack of explanation is not bad enough, I walked away not knowing if my car is fixed or if I’m about to have a breakdown on my next car trip. They also charged me $80 for a rental car after they were about to let me drive off with the main problem not fixed on day one after having it ALL DAY. I didn’t realize I needed to be my own mechanic and tell a dealership what to fix. The issue was a safety concern and if not fixed could have caused thousands in damages, and when I asked if I should even be driving it, I was told no. So, they charged me extra for not caring or doing their jobs. They even have notes that they must have forgotten about on the paperwork they handed back to me stating that the first mechanic did not do their job, and someone needed to call “the customer.” Well, here I am still and have not had that phone call to discuss my concerns. Randy (last name?) is a very nice and helpful employee so ask for him if you have to go to this place. Unfortunately for me, he was not working after the first day this issue had started. Steven Fink was fantastic and helpful as well. As for Bobby Howard, you should run the other way if he is assigned to assist you. He was utterly useless and literally cut me off mid-sentence when I was asking for the GM’s number. Bobby then proceeded to tell me that he was flat out not going to give me the number or the corporate number and told me what I was going to do instead because he was just covering for Randy and was “not getting in the middle” of the issues that were going on with this service. When I then stated I would just call the main number back for the GM's number, Bobby told me "you do that mam" and hung up on me. To top it all off I’ve called Chris Roberts the Service Director 5 times and left messages since Wednesday and he has attempted to call back once, left no voicemail, and clearly is choosing to not even speak with me at this point. I’m contacting Corporate and the BBB at this time because no matter what is going on at a business, respect for customer and explaining your work should not be impossible for a business to accomplish. If you are looking for a totally demeaning and exasperating customer experience on top of overpaying for service, then the Honda at the Avenues is just the place to visit! More
