Salesman was great but that's about it. I have bought a car from Furman Chevrolet before. I told them I could afford 350 a month, and the salesman asked about my credit score and said it sho I have bought a car from Furman Chevrolet before. I told them I could afford 350 a month, and the salesman asked about my credit score and said it shouldn't be a problem. The salesman was fantastic I had a very limited time frame to purchase a vehicle due to my current vehicle being totaled and I only had a few days of a rental car. I told this to my salesman and with in a few hours he emailed me 3 trucks. I picked one out and at 7 at night he drove it to my house so I could look at it. I liked it and I told him I would be there at 9am to purchase the truck. Again I asked him if he thought the 350 a month was still possible, and he said he couldn't guarantee it but with my credit score it seemed like it shouldn't be an issue. I arrived to the dealership and filed out the paperwork then the games started. The salesman came back with a paper that had a 500 dollar a month payment. This made me upset because I had asked him quite a few times what I wanted to pay, so he said he would go see what he could do. He Ccme back again with a finance manager who put down another paper which was 450 a month. I told him that wouldn't work because I didn't want to pay over 350. He then stated that I was financing 25,000 dollars, and my reply was, so what it doesn't matter if I can't afford it. Then he rudley told me maybe this isn't the truck for you. I thought maybe this wasn't the dealership for me and got up and left. I was treated very rudley specially being a repeat customer. Low and behold I got a call saying come back, and guess what all of the sudden. My payment is down to 359...amazing how that happens but I shouldn't be surprised because that's the second time I have felt like Furman Chevrolet has tried to screw me over. If I didn't need the truck and wasn't in a corner I would of never stepped foot back in that door. I'm self employed and it an employee of mine talked to any of my customers like that they would be terminated on the spot. The salesman worked his rear off, and was amazing but honestly I don't think I'll ever purchase another car from Furman, and I'll let everyone know it's shady. Thanks Aaron More
