Born in South Dakota and raised in San Diego, we moved to Phoenix in 1987 where I held my first automotive job as a service lot attendant for a local dealer. I have held several positions in a dealership setting over the years and absolutely love the automotive business. I can't think of doing anything else. My wife and I have 2 beautiful daughters and reside in San Tan Valley. What I like best about Subaru is our customers, without a doubt- they are the best!

Great experience. Darby was great! No pressure, took me to the car I requested to see and gave me all the facts. I thought i knew what i wanted and could afford and Dar Darby was great! Great new SUV buying experience Subaru Forester We took nearly a year looking and comparing a lot of SUV’s and found the Subaru Forester met all of our expectations. Then dealing with Charlie Webb We took nearly a year looking and comparing a lot of SUV’s and found the Subaru Forester met all of our expectations. Then dealing with Charlie Webb was no pressure and working with us to get just what we wanted. His patience and understanding our situation was really appreciated, but only the beginning. Then we met and worked with all the other employees there and they way they helped and worked with us was impressive. Then got better with follow up and assistance plus never experienced follow on training class. It was all above anything we have ever experienced from any car dealer. More

Best car buying experience!! Darby was a great salesman from the start! Darby even notified me of the rock chips on the first car I was supposed to receive due to bad weather during its transportation to the dealership. He was honest and did not want to cover it up or sell it to me due to its condition and we decided an alternative plan. Him and the whole Subaru Superstore team have been up front and honest, did not make me feel pressured at all through the process (which is very intimidating for a first time car buyer) and got me the car that I wanted. I couldn’t have asked for a better car buying experience!! More

YUP Right from the start we could tell Tom Darby understood the car buying experience from a Customers point of view because he was not pushy or clingy Right from the start we could tell Tom Darby understood the car buying experience from a Customers point of view because he was not pushy or clingy or annoying. He gave us space but was never to far away that we had to go look for him. And he wasn’t watching us like we were going to steal something, Yah, You all know the feeling I am talking about. He is very very knowledgeable about the Subaru’s and all of the competition in the Forester and Outback class of vehicles. He explained everything in detail including the price and financing. Tom has LOTS of patience and explained everything including what is the best option for our situation. Anyway, we chose the Forester. It was the easiest, fastest and smoothest vehicle purchase I have ever had. It almost seems like Tom was working for us, helping us buy a car from the dealer. Not like he was trying to sell us the car. I will definitely recommend Tom Darby if your looking for a Subaru. More

Superstore - a very accurate name Was directed to other Subaru dealers through True Car and did not find the experience positive. "Risked" doing an online request for info with the Cha Was directed to other Subaru dealers through True Car and did not find the experience positive. "Risked" doing an online request for info with the Chandler Subaru Superstore. Received a timely response from Johnny Barravecchio and he followed up with great facts (inventory, availability, pricing, etc.) and an honest, customer-focused approach. The Superstore is large, but welcoming. Everyone was extremely friendly, leading up to my car purchase decision, in delivering the vehicle, choosing service options, and in following up afterwards for installation of the Clear Bra with "Adam 1". Definitely feel fortunate to have connected with Johnny for the sales process, and the Encore follow up delivery program with Daniel is great. My first Subaru and expectations have already been exceeded. More

Fantastic Sales, Service and the Best SUV on the roads today ( this review might be redundant my apologies I wrote a review three days ago and it has not shown up in any review for the Subaru Superstore in Chan ( this review might be redundant my apologies I wrote a review three days ago and it has not shown up in any review for the Subaru Superstore in Chandler Arizona so here goes ) We walked in to the dealership expecting a stressful experience and walked out smiling and anticipating driving a new Subaru Forester. Daniele Falls our Sales representative was wonderful ...caring , knowledgeable , professional... we became instant friends. After much research I went to the dealership knowing exactly what I wanted in a new SUV ..Daniel Falls with the patience of Job matched me with a 2019 Forester Limited which was loaded with all the safety features I had researched and wanted in my new vehicle he knew exactly what my needs were ... I can’t say enough about Daniel Falls.. .. by the way my husband and I are Ford people .. have been our adult lives and I’m 70 ! We went to Subaru because that’s where my research led us and Daniel Falls closed the deal...Excellent Sales Person ! Day two Daniel took us on a test drive , day three I drove my new Forester home. The Subaru superstore in Chandler Arizona was spotless , a bright and friendly atmosphere ,very comfortable a lovely seating area with refreshments including cookies ... The Staff from Customer Service, Reception , the Store Manager , the Financial Manager, everyone made us feel very comfortable and at ease ... it truly was a pleasurable experience doing business with the Subaru superstore staff which to my amazement will continue because they have offered classes to help me fully understand how to operate especially the new safety features in the Forester and have already made an appointment to have a one on one training .....Follow up, caring people ....Happy buyer...me! AMAZING Stress-free Experience! We were simply blown-away by the entire car buying experience that Tom skillfully guided us through the whole way. I was frankly dreading trading-in We were simply blown-away by the entire car buying experience that Tom skillfully guided us through the whole way. I was frankly dreading trading-in my car for a new one and was completely clueless about leasing a car as I have always done a purchase in the past with other dealerships. When we pulled-into the dealership, I was expecting to be pounced upon, BUT that was thankfully not the case! We had some time alone to just browse by ourselves and then Tom casually approached and introduced himself; he was extremely pleasant, kind, and reserved. Now, I had done some research as to what model we were looking for but was clueless as to the differences between the package levels in the models. Tom explained everting in detail and instead of trying to sell us the top of the line, he was very inquisitive as to what features fit our life style. My spouse was very reserved and cautious (based on past experiences with other dealerships) but after Tom spent a great deal of time explaining our options, we both felt good and went forward with leasing a 2019 Outback limited Edition Tom took us inside the immaculately appointed dealership and offered us refreshments. We then ran the numbers and were thrilled with the lease price and terms. I then met with Brent, the Business Manager, who was also very pleasant and welcoming. I was also impressed by the dealerships' use of the Document Signing Pad- just a very clean and organized experience and really liked Brent's sense of humor too! Well, I could go on forever about detailing the positive experience; however, if you are reading this, please stop now and go to the Chandler Subaru Superstore and ask for Tom; it will be the best way to start the new year! More
