My name is Brett Mathis. I have been a Service Advisor for over 6 years now and with Ford for 2 years. I really enjoy my job working for Sunset Ford & Ford Motor Company because it is a line of vehicles I most enjoy, especially Mustangs. Mustang are an area I feel most confident in and enjoy helping customers learn and understand what upgrades are most suitable for the customer’s expectations. I personally own 4 fords including a 1951 Ford Tudor. Last year, I became a Master Certified Service Advisor since I have been here with Sunset Ford. I was born and raised in Saint Louis and proud to work for a dealership that has been in business for over 100 years!

My visit was to have a key made when I arrived the service advisor Brett Mathis informed me that the keys were $25 and if there would be a charge of 5750 for programming but I need it all the keys so service advisor Brett Mathis informed me that the keys were $25 and if there would be a charge of 5750 for programming but I need it all the keys so I’d have to come back the next day arrive the next day Brett remembered me and he took care of me come to find out the key could be programmed from the car in doing so I didn’t have to pay the 5750 They could’ve charged me and I wouldn’t known the difference More

Exellent experience Was greeted by Cory Puppillo, told him what type of tuck I was looking for. I expressed to him I was unsure which engine option would be best for my n Was greeted by Cory Puppillo, told him what type of tuck I was looking for. I expressed to him I was unsure which engine option would be best for my needs, but I knew I wanted an XLT truck, so Cory brought me three identical trucks in the color I wanted, but they each had a different engine size. He let me test drive each one on my own to see what I thought of each. Cory is not high pressure but very attentive and helpful. He does not try to push you into anything and gave me his honest opinion on each of the three engine options. Overall an excellent transaction, I never felt pressured by Cory and he was very helpful and informative. The guy knows his Fords. I also worked with Brett Mathis in service for a minor issue with my truck. Brett was very courteous and accommodating. Excellent. More

WORST SERVICE DEPARTMENT I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. The service department shouldn’t be allowed to touch a vehicle. A 1 star review is 1 star too many. Your car will still sit in their lot for days before being touched. Then there is the REAL problem. They installed a new AC compressor under warranty on my 2017 Mustang GT. They stated on paper that had to jack up the motor to get it out, and that they had to loosen the transmission mounts. I got it back and have driven the car several months now before finding out that the transmission was never bolted back to the car. The weight of the transmission has been being held up by the exhaust hangers and header bolts. Who knows what other damage has been done to the header bolts, motor mounts, u joints, drive shaft etc... I will be having the entire car gone through elsewhere to check for other damage from this. HOW DO YOU FORGET TO BOLT THE TRANS TO THE CAR?!?! I called today to discuss the matter, and couldn’t get ahold of anyone. This service department should be shutdown. More
