Having an excellent service department is a must for all car owners. Having said that, Honda of the Avenues excels in this regard. My wife and I are particularly grateful to service advisors like Dan Deit car owners. Having said that, Honda of the Avenues excels in this regard. I arrived at approximately 4:55 PM on 02/13/24 for an oil change. I went in the waiting room and received a text from Brian at 4:58. I waited in the waiting room until 6:38 when I texted Brian asking him how change. I went in the waiting room and received a text from Brian at 4:58. I waited in the waiting room until 6:38 when I texted Brian asking him how much longer until my car would be finished; no response. Finally around 7 PM (when I was the only guest left in the waiting room) a Service Advisor ( I don't remember his name) came in the waiting room and asked me what I'm waiting for. He advised me he had not been briefed about my vehicle. My car was ready outside but neither I nor the one late shift Advisor knew about it. I finally was underway after 7 PM thanks to a lack of communication from amongst the Service Advisors. I have brought both a 2015 Civic & a 2014 Odyssey to this Dealership for several years with good service; but not this time. More
