BMW did not let us know the service would be time consuming, which it was. We should have been informed when I called to set up the appointment and offered a loaner car. This has been my experience with Mercedes and Lexus. My husband spent over 5 hours waiting for the car. He was told we needed new tires which was debatable and we also had to replace the battery which we have had zero problems with until we took the car in for service. We were planning on trading in our X5 for a new X7 but we will definitely not be doing that. We have no interest in owning another BMW. Very disappointed in the service. We have been disappointed in the service at this BMW every time we have needed service. More

Was told service would take two hours. Instead it took four hours due to a holiday backup. If I was told four hours initially I would have the appointment on another day when you were not Instead it took four hours due to a holiday backup. One day, a check engine light came on and indicated an issue. After it was diagnosed, we learned the part was covered under an extended warranty.
