Brooke was fabulous, but …. Perplexed and not completely happy. When making my appointment about two weeks ahead of time, I told the girl on the phone that I needed an oil c Perplexed and not completely happy. When making my appointment about two weeks ahead of time, I told the girl on the phone that I needed an oil change and that I also wanted someone to fix my rims because they had some deep scratches in them. I did have the tire package and knew that this would be covered. The girl on the phone also told me that there were no more loaners available, but there was Hertz on site and that they would give me a free rental. When I showed up for my appointment speaking with Brooke, my associate, I went over what needed to get done, and she then explained to me how the person that takes care of the rims only comes to your location on Mondays and Thursdays. I then said to her that someone should've told me that information upon making the appointment because I would've booked it on one of those days. She agreed with me that the person making the appointment should have relayed that information to me. Brooke did explain to me that I could either come back with my car on Thursday for them to fix the rims or just keep the Hertz rental until the car was done. I was fine with that. When dealing with Hertz, they told me that they only had two electric cars and one gas car. And the gas car was a Nissan versa and the electric cars, which I've never driven before, were Chevy bolts. I was shocked that a BMW location would actually give those cars to their clientele. BMW should be embarrassed. I told him that I would take the gas car. After standing outside for at least 15 minutes the gentleman finally came back and told me that there was something wrong with the Nissan versa and that I needed to take one of the electric cars. I was still in a state of shock as he went to go get the electric car and I went back into Brooke and told her how I was not happy but she told me to come back the next day and I could exchange the car. When the electric car was brought up to me, the gentleman explained to me how to charge this car since I've never driven one before. Apparently it wasn't even fully charged and had less than 80 miles left on the charge. How do you give a person an electric car that you would've normally rented to somebody and have them pay for it and have it not be fully charged? That is not acceptable at all. I drove the car back to my house left it in the driveway and used my mother's car because we knew that we could get from point A to point B without running out of gas/charge. The next day, I did bring the electric car back and was given a Toyota RAV4 that was hybrid so I was fine with that. On Friday, I went back to your dealership to pick up my car, everything was going smoothly until my car was brought to me. It looked like it had been parked under a tree and had bird crap all over the back of it, and the car was completely filthy. My rims looked great, but they were filthy as well. I was so aggravated that I just left, but could not believe that Bmw did not wash my car before bringing it out to me. I am very meticulous with my car and wash it almost every day. How could you guys do that to a customer? Would I recommend your dealership? At this point I'm not sure. If I came back, would my car be filthy as well after you worked on it? Brooke was great, but whoever handled my car, they should've washed it. My husband's car is there right now getting worked on and I really hope that Bmw does the right thing with his M4 because he will definitely give whomever a mouthful after paying that much money if it's not handled correctly. His last comment was that maybe we should start bringing it up to Tampa Bmw if Sarasota treats their customers this way.
