Caril Barnard was extremely helpful and went out of her way to assist me through the process. Caril also kept an eye out for a newer Passat Diesel that had been corrected and found one that I am now enjoying. I have been a customer at Vorderman's since purchasing my 2014 Passat TDI new in 2014. I have found everyone there to be friendly, eager to help if I had questions, and truly professional in there actions. Service department is always on top of taking care of my car, and appreciate the follow ups from Abby and Larry. She is absolutely wonderful, she searched all over to find exactly the car I wanted and got it here in less than a week. The staff at Vorderman's is amazing I have never felt pressured or rushed, they really take the time to know you and your needs and find you the best vehicle. I am always amazed at there attention to detail, there is never a dirty car on the lot, and I have never seen a maintenance shop so clean and pristine. You can tell that Everyone form the shop to the management takes pride in what they do, and that customer service comes first. More

I was looking for a specific car and I was lucky enough to find it at Volderman. I was extremely nervous about purchasing the car because it was sight unseen as I live out of state. Caril was extremely patient with all my questions and even helped with setting up the transportation to get the car to NY. Everything went extremely smooth, Both Caril and Teresha followed up with everything. My car was delivered a day early and all of my paperwork arrived soon after. The only problem was that I did not get to meet them and thank them in person. I am loving my new ride thanks to them. I would highly recommend Volderman based on my experience with both of these lovely women!! More

Caril sold me.... on only wanting to buy a car from her! I had been searching for a newer used car on the internet for about a month, in advance of moving out of Chicago (where I hadn't had a car since 2009) I had been searching for a newer used car on the internet for about a month, in advance of moving out of Chicago (where I hadn't had a car since 2009). I knew I really wanted a small SUV / wagon / or hatchback and saw an older Passat Wagon for sale. I called in to ask some questions, and spoke with Caril Bernard about the car. She was very friendly and answered some of the questions I had (the car had not yet gone through their service department - so she didn't have access to all of the information right when I called) and had great follow through to answer my remaining questions and let me know when the car was "ready" for sale. She also let me know some of the things that Vorderman had done to the car to prepare it, which was super helpful. Between my first call and her calling back, I had already decided that I needed/wanted a newer used car and with fewer miles than the Passat Wagon had, but my interactions with Caril made me want to keep Vorderman on my list of stops when I came into town at the end of August to really shop for a car. I had about 6 cars I was interested in and test drove them all, and my experience with Caril/Vorderman was by far the best! I nearly bought a Passat sedan from her on this trip - but knew that wasn't really the kind of car I wanted and I would have buyer's remorse. I felt horrible - because I wanted to work with Caril! At the end of the few days in Ft. Wayne, I went back to Chicago without a car. Caril remained proactive, sending me links to cars that might work for me (within my mileage/budget/style requirements) and I had let her know when I would be back in town (end of September). She called me on her DAY OFF - on the day she knew that I was coming back - to let me know that a 2012 Nissan Rogue had come in the night before. She knew it was the style/color/mileage - everything I was looking for! I went the very next morning for a test drive and bought the car. It was great to have a sales person who wanted to get the *right* car for me - not just to make a sale. We paid cash for the car, but I did work with Teresha Hubley in Finance for the extended warranty (yes, I bought one) and she answered all of my questions. She was also very friendly and knowledgeable. I had a GREAT experience with Caril & Vorderman - and I would definitely buy another car from them! More
