Please know that when we conduct a vehicle appraisal, we strive to be as thorough and fair as possible, considering both your interests and ours. As part of our evaluation, we review the Carfax history, among other factors. In this case, the Carfax report indicated that the vehicle was involved in a severe damage accident in July 2018, with damage noted to the rear, front, left side, left front, left rear, and right front. A copy of this report was provided to you during your visit. Unfortunately, a history of severe damage significantly impacts a vehicle’s market value, and it cannot be valued the same as a comparable vehicle without such a history. While you were at the dealership, we discussed this information with you. We understand you chose to leave during that conversation, and we made an effort to follow up and continue the discussion.
