Cesar Salinas and Zain Rahman I recently purchased a new Honda CRV. Because my schedule is so busy, I had to deal with two separate sales employees. Cesar Salinas and Zain Rahman both helped tremendously to answer any questions we had. They both had great follow through and continue to check to see if I have any questions about my new vehicle. We will be back! More

Excellent Cesar was great. He got me trough my first car buying experience. He was very understanding and wanted to help me the best he could, even if that mean Cesar was great. He got me trough my first car buying experience. He was very understanding and wanted to help me the best he could, even if that meant getting a work out walking back and forth to speak with his superior. He was helpful, knowledgeable, and with a great personality, plus he speaks Spanish which is a huge advantage and I didn't have to translate for my parents! Will definitely like to work with him again. More

I approached the situation with much trepidation as I'd heard so many horror stories about the entire car buying experience. I did as much research as I could on Edmunds & KBB.com, as is the case for most people in this day-and-age I think, but everything I read I felt still wouldn't prepare me for the real thing. That said, I finally decided on the car I wanted and the prize I should be paying and set out to go car shopping with my brother as my wingman. By the time I left though, I realized I was worried about the experience for nothing. Walking into Valley Honda I was immediately impressed with the high class showroom, featuring in iCafe, multiple flat screen TV's, vending machines, and just overall a very pleasant atmosphere. The showroom was packed with sales people but the one I worked with was Cesar Salinas. Cesar is truly an extraordinary salesman. He has a background in the service department so he feels more relatable than your typical middle-aged, bleach-teethed shark of a car salesman you usually hear about. There was no false bravado or saccharine-sweet smooth talking, just straight-talk about the car, its features, the different packages, and color options. He helpfully guided me through picking which package would be right for me, in terms of cost-effectiveness and the overall actual differences between the various sets, all the while I didn't feel pressured or forced into anything I didn't want to do. During the breaks between shop talk, Cesar was very personable; my dad had showed up before my brother and I had and he spent time talking with him and even called me to let me know my dad had arrived. We were able to swap stories about the pain of trading in your very first car, and the excitement of going to buy a new one. When it came time for me to leave to go to my Dr.'s appointment, I chatted with the Sales Manager Mohit Saini. He, too, was a no-nonsense individual and straight up asked what price we would need to make a deal today, and we ended up reaching an agreement with no set-backs at all. I found Mohit to be knowledgeable and self-assure, but also accommodating. Never once did it feel overbearing. When it came down to finances I worked with Katy Meyer; she was great in helping me decide on a care package for my car and after discussing how I live in the city and how our roads here have a penchant for potholes, we decided to go with the bronze package to cover any dents or tire damage my car may get. Again, I didn't feel like I was being swindled by a snake oil salesman, but being talked to on a frank and honest level. To me, the worst thing any sales person can do is talk down their nose at you, and never once did I feel they were being condescending -- a behavior I have a very acute sense for. If you ever find yourself at Valley Honda, and have the esteemed privilege of getting to do business with Cesar or any of these fine individuals, consider yourself among the lucky ones. More
