Chad Carey, Jeff Schmidt and Michael Dixon forever changed my outlook on car b Otto’s Mini provided the best car buying experience I’ve ever had. Chad Carey, Jeff Schmidt and Michael Dixon forever changed my outlook on car buying. On a friend’s recommendation, I contacted Chad and explained to him that weeks earlier I had the worst car buying experience in Northern VA, where I live. One that ended in a returned car, deposit refund drama and weeks of rental car merry-go-round. Needless to say, when I contacted Chad I had my doubts about car salesmen; however, Chad was a breath of fresh air. He was attentive; said I was welcome to Otto’s anytime; and he promised that my experience would be loads different than anything I’d ever experienced and it was. I felt at ease the minute I walked into Otto’s. There were no car salesmen hassling me or roaming around like hawks looking to pluck up prey. The interior looked very professional and inviting. The motoring advisors (sales personnel) were working with various customers or at their desks and they did not speed up to me - like I’m sure you’ve experienced when purchasing cars before. They left me alone to look at the cars in the showroom and approach the receptionist when I was ready. And when I did ask for Chad, he immediately greeted me and introduced me to Jeff. Chad relayed to Jeff nightmare experience and Jeff took it from there. Jeff was great. I explained to him what I was looking for and he showed me several options. He also explained to me why he liked where he worked, as well as how great the owners are not just to their customers but to their staff. When it came time to talk price there was not any back and forth and I received a deal better than I expected. Jeff did not pressure me to buy the car right then either and I didn’t. I went back home to think so as to make the best decision. During the week before my purchase, Jeff took ill so Michael completed the sale the following week. He was a class act. After I purchased Foxy, that’s my Mini’s name, he walked me back through all of the bells and whistles in the car. He was extremely patient with me while life happened and I had to take some calls. He also identified a few things I didn’t know about the car. Again, this was after purchase, so this is something he didn’t need to do, but he did and I’m very appreciative of his thoroughness and professionalism. I could say more about Otto’s; however, I think you just need to go down there yourself and see just how awesome Otto’s is for yourself. More
