Seth and the rest of the sales group were helpful in helping me find a car. But, I almost left without a purchase when dealing with the finance settlement. In the finance department with Charlie, the helping me find a car. But, I almost left without a purchase when dealing with the finance settlement. In the finance department with Charlie, there was the typical upselling and high interest rate, annoying but expected. Luckily I had financing already approved and knew my rate ahead of time. Where i really had an issue were the extra, sneaky charges I had to find on my own. Things like an undiscussed package of oil changes and very expensive GAP insurance. Where i almost walked out the door though, was a $999 charge that was never explained. When requested these charges were removed, but definitely left me questioning how much I could trust the company I was working with! All together, these would add thousands to the purchase cost with little benefit. More

Overall a pretty good experience, however they do try to play the add on game and add additional costs to the vehicle without being totally forthcoming, so watch out for additional charges such as wheel loc play the add on game and add additional costs to the vehicle without being totally forthcoming, so watch out for additional charges such as wheel locks, paint protection, interior protection and vehicle etching, which is supposed to be a theft deterrent. Our complete buying experience took close to 10 hours over two days, which I think is a bit excessive. The dealership did not seem to be very knowledgeable about the features on my new vehicle and therefore I was not really shown how to use the extensive list of options on our Genesis GV80, even though this is a Kia dealership and Genesis is Kia’s high end line. Our salesman, Michael was nice and polite, but again didn’t seem that knowledgeable on our specific vehicle. He left the dealership when I was taking delivery of my car and I had to go around talking to the Used Car Manager and other employees to figure out questions that I had. My trade in had been moved from the front of the building to a rear lot, before I was able to clear out all of my belongings. After 5 minutes of looking for the car it was finally located and then I had to go find the keys, because it was locked. A lot attendant or whoever moved the car apparently decided that my cigarettes and lighter were now there property and even after waiting about 15 minutes for several employees to go around looking for them, they were never found. Thankfully one of the service guys was nice enough to hand me $20 out of his own pocket to correct the problem. They also did a horrible job of cleaning up the interior and exterior of the vehicle. This is a pretty high end vehicle and I would expect it to be spotless after just spending around $40,000 for a used car. The engine compartment is filthy along with the interior of the car. On the inside they did a quick vacuum and that was it. There was food, crumbs and other nasty stuff all over the interior of the vehicle. The dashboard, seats, floor mats and rear cargo areas were all left in dirty condition and in my opinion in subpar condition to be delivered to a customer.The headliner was extremely dirty and no attempt was ever made to clean any of it up. I should’ve been excited when I got home with my new to me vehicle, but I was frustrated that I had to spend time cleaning it. Even the windows, including the windshield were all dirty and covered with a grease like film. The exterior of the car had been washed, but it still looked dirty. When I mentioned it to them, they just said that their car wash sucked. They had just gotten the car on the lot when I first went to look at it and it seems to me that once they knew that I was going to buy it that they had no further obligations to properly clean it like they normally would to put on the lot. Xavier was awesome! He was the Rock and orchestrator of a special situation I had in being able to buy our new car. My wife had major surgery’s that caused me to take a dental from my job to give her 24/7 care. It was very hard for us, God let us have savings built up to make it thru, however, not everyone got paid for bills due to high medical and RX bills made us have to redirect. Xavier, Charlie and Ben saw through the business side of things and leaned on the human side. They helped me make a lady who has gone thru xxxx and back the last 2 years, smile and cry when Cavier delivers our car on a Saturday. What a life moment that only happens far not enough in this world we live. The guys went the extra distance! You can believe and trust in Xavier, Ben and Charlie to make your dreams come true, even when you think they are bleak. Great job to the Russ Darrow Waukesha KIA family. 5 star group! I'm extremely pleased with how much better the new GM and staff are at this dealership! I've been a customer of Kia of Waukesha for the past 6 years. They hadn't always make me feel like a valued customer du staff are at this dealership! I've been a customer of Kia of Waukesha for the past 6 years. They hadn't always make me feel like a valued customer due to a past experience when the turbo on my car broke down and needed to be replaced.. I filed a claim with Endurance Warranty Services and it was replaced by Kia of Waukesha. The service consultant told me that their dealership worked with Endurance and that I would be taken care of. At that time the previous GM was very rude and wouldn't accept payment from Endurance. After a long stressful debate and arguing. I was forced to pay over $1300 plus labor out of my own pocket. Luckily, Endurance Warranty reimbursed every penny back to me. After that I vowed never to return to Kia of Waukesha. But, as fate would have it, 3 years later my 2013 Kia Optima needed some work done and I decided to take it back to Kia of Waukesha. Two weeks prior, Rosen Kia's in Milwaukee performed suspension work on my Optima and a cam bolt was broken. So, instead of obtaining a replacement can bolt from another Kia dealership in the area. The service advisor at Rosen decided to order a $27 cam bolt from out of state and told me there was nothing he could do and kept my car for 4 days without even offering me a loaner vehicle to get to work. As a result , I called their parts department and spoke to an awesome guy named Lonzel. He found multiple cam bolts at several dealerships in the area. And, I got my car back 1 day earlier than expected. So, the service at Rosen was unacceptably disappointing and very unprofessional. And, that's why I decided to go back to Kia of Waukesha when my car suddenly lost power while heading home from running errands. On 8/9/25 I dropped my car and spoke to Angela in the service department. A junior mechanic who wasn't experienced worked on my car. When I picked it up later that same day. It still had no power. So, the mechanic and I took a test drive. After returning to the shop. The young mechanic apologized and said that he was inexperienced with turbos and needed more time with the car. So, Angela apologized and kept the car over the weekend..When I returned on Monday 8/11/25 to pickup my car I noticed a lot of smoke coming from the engine bay. But, the power "was" restored. So, I took the Optima back the next day and it was determined that the junior mechanic pinched a gasket on the valve cover and broke a full line. The repairs took another 2 days. But, Angela and her team were very apologetic and offered me a loaner vehicle. I picked up my car on 8/13/25 and everything was fixed except the underbody cover that was hanging off. After owning that 2013 Optima for 11 years, I decided to look at a 2022 Kia Stinger GT1. I met a salesman named Seth and made an appointment. Seth was extremely professional! He went above and beyond to get me into the Stinger! When my fiance and I arrived at the dealership. Seth was on his way back from personally delivering the Stinger to me at the dealership. We met Ben the finance guy and Riley a leasing consultant. They both were very accommodating and friendly. They made us feel at home. We left to get lunch while we waited for Seth to return. After taking a test drive in the Stinger. I immediately fell in love with it! My fiance loved it so much that she decided to trade in her car and got a 2026 Kia Sportage for herself!. The whole team of Seth, Ben, Riley and Anne in finance worked extremely hard to make us comfortable and welcome! I'm absolutely thrilled with my Stinger and my fiance Wendy is overjoyed and pleasantly surprised with her new Sportage!. Ben told me that their new GM Jonathan Brown is focused on satisfying customers. My hat is off to Mr. Brown and his staff for a job well done! More
