It was quite a bit of work for them as they had to get a new Camaro in here to take and trade for the color I wanted. When the car arrived in Vernon, it was exactly what I wanted. Adrian Chenault showed me the features on the car and filled it up with gas. Megan Adams went over the paperwork with me and explained everything perfectly. Every once in a while an extraordinary vehicle buying experience comes along and mine came today. About 7 weeks ago I ordered a new 2014 GMC Sierra Z71 4X4. It arrived in Vernon while we were on vacation last week and Terry Rutherford took good care of me, even redirecting other prospective buyers away from my new “toy” until I could make the trip from Dallas to Vernon to pick it up. Once I arrived on site this morning, I found that Terry had already started the process of getting the new truck cleaned up and detailed and ready for me to take possession of. While the folks in the shop worked to prepare the truck, Terry worked me through the trade in/purchasing process, even to the point of smiling through computer issues. My trade-in value exceeded my expectations and the purchase price of the new truck was what I thought to be an exceptional value. All said and done, I drove off in a new truck with payments that were considerably less than what I have been paying for the last 4 years. I know that not every sale will result in lower payments, but Terry and Chris both did a great job and worked hard to get me the best deal possible. My hat goes off to all involved. More

Our initial intention was to repair our 2007 Chevrolet, end our vacation and go home. The sales staff recognized our anxiety and working with their service department gave us all the options available to us as far as the repair, the trade in options and the new vehicles they had on the lot. We wanted a long bed truck (they did not have any at this time) so they had to go to the internet to search for a vehicle we would like. We also have a three hole Deerskin dog box in our truck so they had to locate a local vendor to line the truck bed and move the box from our old truck to the new one. We walked into Vernon Auto Group on Wednesday, July 10th stressed and unhappy. We drove away from Vernon Auto Group on Friday around noon happy and ready to continue our vacation. More importantly, Steve Ybarra made sure that I was comfortable with both the truck and the process. He was always accessible, and went out of his way to do a walk-around inspection of the truck and test drive while I was on the phone. Everything from front-end alignment to interior/exterior vehicle condition and options were delivered exactly as promised. Everyone I worked with -- from sales to financing, management, and the delivery team -- were all top-notch. I am not easily impressed, but I will absolutely recommend Steve and Vernon Ford to my friends and family. More
