After visiting many dealerships I just purchased a 2012 Chevy Equinox form Chris Hallenberg! I am so happy I made the decision to work with Chris and the Jennings Chevrolet team. When I met Chris I told him I was looking for a midsize SUV but was really not sure what to purchase. I had no intention at that time to purchase a Chevrolet due to my last three vehicles were Chevys and I was ready for a change. Little did I know how Chevrolet had improved since my 2003 Monte Carlo. My husband did not have time to go check out the Equinox with me but last night when I brought it home he was really surprised on how luxurious the SUV is! After driving the Equinox last night I realized it is not only an amazing SUV but also a really safe vehicle. I am looking forward to many years with my Equinox and working with the Jennings team! The customer service I got from the entire team was amazing they held every door open for me, gave me food when I was starving, and every team member gave me a warm friendly smile (not buy a car smile). I felt no pressure and only felt like they wanted me to be happy with the decision I made. Chris even stayed late almost missing his child’s graduation just to make sure I was taken care of. After looking at cars for over a year, we had been to most of the Chevy and Toyota dealerships in Chicago and along the North Shore. We continuously walked out of most of these dealerships feeling that the dealers either lacked much knowledge about the cars they were selling or were simple condescending or rude. Chris however, was deeply knowledgeable about the Chevy Volt that that we were interested in and patiently answered our many questions. We felt that we were honestly being taken care of and would continue to be if we bought a car from him and from this dealership. Sales reps have always been very patient and easy to deal with. No pressure and plenty of expertise over several years of buying/leasing 7 vehicles from this dealer. Not always so friendly. In one case a car jocky HIT my new vehicle in the parking lot and they had to repair it. I've been a little skittish about leaving my car with them since then. However the dealer repaired the vehicle, of course, at no charge. More
