I have been buying gmc, buick and nissans since 1975. all from gates. the service and sales have always been great. the staff at gates has always been pleaseant and knowledgeable concerning their products. we plan to return for our next vehicle. a warm experience on a cold day. thanks paul, tom and chris. Over the top customer service! 6 stars if I could! My wife and I had been to 3 other dealerships and had not found what we were looking for, namely -Customer Service! For some reason it was hard to fin My wife and I had been to 3 other dealerships and had not found what we were looking for, namely -Customer Service! For some reason it was hard to find a good car buying experience so far in our search. Gates was a different experience, even while entering the sales lot. Within moments of talking to Paul Bacon I knew we would be buying a car here. Sure enough, several test drives later- we came to a good deal on a beautiful 2011 Honda Pilot that well suited our needs. Working with Chris Messier for final paperwork was also a delight. There are no high pressure sales tactics or other uncomfortable practices to be found at Gates. This dealership has earned our respect and certainly knows how to treat a customer. This is exactly how a dealership can earn ALL of my future business. More

I have bought many other vehicles from other dealers, but nobody comes close to these guys! Brian Philips knew exactly what I was looking for, & was very knowledgeable of the GMC product. Between him & Chris Messier, I told them the ballpark I wanted to be in as far as payment & they made it work without missing a beat! Everyone that even just passed by me in the dealership was really friendly & made you feel comfortable! The place was very nice inside. I have been telling everyone that asks me where I bought the truck from, that these guys up at Gates are solid guys! I had a problem with an old tax bill on my old truck so they couldn't give the plates that day. I went & paid the taxes in my town & Brian sent a nice gentleman down to my work in Hartford with my new plates! Who could ask for anything more?! If your looking for an awesome dealer in CT, go see them. It's a no-brainer! Thanks again! More
