The car drivers from service Dept don’t use the emergency brake when parking my car on incline after service. I’ve had almost 5 years of service at the dealership and never once did they use the emergency b brake when parking my car on incline after service. I’ve had almost 5 years of service at the dealership and never once did they use the emergency brake after parking it on incline surface by road. The clank I heard when shifting from park to reverse upset me enough to go back in and complain to the service rep this time. I don’t appreciate the mistreatment of my transmission every time I brought my highlander in for 2 years free maintenance and the remainder of the extended 3 year warranty I bought when I ordered the suv. I have only 15,150 on this soon to be 5 years old vehicle. This was the 65000 mile service. I have never abused a transmission after my grandfather showed me the correct way to support the weight of the vehicle in neutral with the emergency brake on. No stress on transmission at all. Please teach the correct way to your drivers on the ins and outs of proper emergency brake use. More
