Dealing with Preston Toyota was a painless experience (which I intend to be high praise) from start to finish. My salesman Christian was great and the dealership met me where I needed to be on price, wi (which I intend to be high praise) from start to finish. Bought a used vehicle from this dealer a few months ago and every experience since has been terrible. Purchased the Preston for Life up front, figured it would be helpful since it's my commuter vehicle. and every experience since has been terrible. Purchased the Preston for Life up front, figured it would be helpful since it's my commuter vehicle. First oil change, smooth process making an appointment and waited over an hour for a simple oil change. I was told they couldn't rotate the tires because the wheel lock was missing and basically said I took it out. I never touched it. It made me question whether it was even inspected prior to purchase. Second oil change, made an appointment and was told their schedule was wide open all week so made it for a Friday after work, latest appointment I could get so I didn't have to miss any work. Left work early to ensure I got there on time (4pm) and arrived and was checked in quick. About an hour in (empty waiting area) a lady casually walked by and said, you should be out soon - finishing up) and I think it settle my nerves a bit. Another hour goes by and a second lady tells me there is an issue. The tool to remove the drain plug broke. My tension was really triggered now because what was told earlier wasn't even remotely close... they had just started. They were sending a tech to town to get a new tool - it's now 6pm, again - empty waiting area. I vented and was told I was remembered because of the wheel lock issue. Another 15 minutes or so goes by and I am again approached and told to come up front. I asked why? Well, we're putting you into a loaner car. Oh boy! Techs were gone we cannot finish the car. It's an oil change... I reluctantly went and vented my complete astonishment of poor customer service, bad customer service and all-around experience. My car is 2' off the ground and I have to get what I need out of it because i am not guaranteed when the car will come back to me. I am given a filthy loaner car, had to fill out paperwork and told to fill it up when I come back. My evening plans are shot and now have to 100% rearrange my Saturday plans to pick up my car when they say it's done. 9:30 Saturday morning, I get the call. Car is done and I need a new axle. I fill up their loaner car and head back to the dealer and am given the paperwork and told to have a good weekend. An extremely unpleasant experience, I will not be returning to Preston Toyota for any kind of business whatsoever. More
