And having actual parts missing on brake calipers, an interior that had terrific damage, 2 areas of car which appeared to have minor crash damage, and a sales staff whom lied to me about receiving paperwork and saying they wanted to make things right ...
Only thing which went right was me staying on top of dealership for weeks on end to finally get sale completed to wherest I could drive car legally .
Beyond finance dept, the dealership was sadly a mess and no one seemed to be on same page, let alone the same book. Customer service? As soon as they got my trade in car and money down, they basically could care less about my experience.
And corporate bmw couldn't do anything; this is a franchise, they have no real overseeing body above their paltry customer service
Oh, and they sent me a car w bald tires, too. Detailed? Far from it . I had to keep reminding myself this was bmw and not a private sale or some used car lot where they dont inspect cars..
Im unsure if the headache and the amount of money/energy its gonna take me to fix brake calipers, tires, interior leather, outside damages/scratches, was worth this. Sale completed in mid Jan. Car had tags finally completed feb 25th. I received them in March, a temporary plate. I had to get emissions done, and commute in a car for work/school for over month w no legal tags or plate.
So, im glad they made sale. I got a car i really wanted, but they should of financed it for thousands less considering im gonna have to put thousands in asap for tires, etc
A very unsatisfying experience. Sorta blown away, as my patience and demeanor with them went from extremely cordial to an amazement to just how many errors and lies I had to traverse
Paperwork filled out wrong on their end? Twice. Vids and pics of car not showing actual damage? Bringing to attention brakes and tires prior to receiving car? Did that, they didnt car.
Shipping company they used? I had to drive my trade in, in reverse...up truck so they delivery company could Jumpstart car. And, furthermore. The idea was and discussed in paperwork that I would get my new car, and trade in mine. Well, no. I got a call from a aggressive truck driver to pick up my car, then I waited for delivery of new car. Which, showed up dirty and not in good shape.
Door squeeking? Hard top roof making noises while driving with it up at any mph? Got that too dents in floor board m plates? Sure.
And that interior ..I could go on and on..
Just really saddened, I just made first car payment and now all I want is a bit of answers why this was so awful, and what does my warranty cover and some actual detailed paperwork for it.
Will I get answers. Im really not into contacting dealership anymore. The smug and passive aggressively weird sales guys should be selling snake oil, not bmws.

I visibly made myself clear and transparent to dealership the entire time.
I will be havint to put on 1400 dollar tires. 1700 dollars to fix the body/paint. Big unreported possible previous accident on back numper AND a huge chunk of front bumper on right side totally smacked and disfigured
I did the interior myself, which was alaramingly worn down. I am one payment in.
I brought ro attention the issues w the rusted out brake calipers, which in pics didnt show how incredibly rusted out they are. And lo and behold, the front c alipers are missing their outside pieces.
This car appeared tended to, but bwyond the most casual glossing over of it, it was not even detailed. There was gunk/dirt in the seats?
I was made to drive my trade in up the trailer to pick it up, by a hostile driver whom had to jump his truck?
I endured a sales team which said theybreceiced the corrected paperwork on a monday nite, when ups clearly showed it was signed and received the previous Friday by a "daniel."
I had thia car completed for sale in january, 17th? I didnt get my Temp plate or reg til beginning of march. I noted the actial temp plates said end of feb.
This is after twice having info entered incorrectly wrong on your end. Well, 3 times wrong but only twice wrong on first socuments.
Corporate said rhey couldn't do anything. I was told by sales they dropped ball, bur upon me presenting the reality of how they lied to me about receival of documents, twice...they didnt fix anything or followup.
I continued to have to follow up for knowing if/when my plates were coming.
So, after trading a car and givung 7500 k down to yall...and now eating a 1700 body/paint repair, and soon to replace bald tires i was given, and having extremely rusted wheels and brake calipers which will cost another 1500 dollars or so, what can you all do.
I was patient. Cordial, but upon sale finalized and me getting said car, i was treated like a pariah, a leper...by your bmw dealership. It was maddening, and if not for Erika in finance, i sont know if i would even be legally driving this car .
So, what can be done. Was this a bmw dealership or just has the badge on it but below the superficial presentation, i feel that the sales dept just doesnt care and thinks customers are stupid.
I didn't like being lied to, by a very curt sales staff whom didnt have any solutions. And here j am putting thousands into a car ive barely driven, and thats not towards finance.
As i said to william in sales, i believe thats his name, you had one job to do. And it was a job well none. Not done.

I dont know what can be done, im facing large repair fees of which ive already entered into for said bodywork/paint, and tires next. And then rusted out brake calipers after that.
I understand a used car, i dont unserstand not even detailed interior or exterior beyond a few swipes of possible gloss and or wax to hide severe bumper and side damage. Perhaps an accident on said vehcile, unreported on bumper where entire right side was clipped.
I am distraught and my patience wore thin merely when waiting for reg and plates, now im in process of putting thousands into car i would of much rather of put as down payment or into the financing.
Creed was super helpful recording videos and answering
all my questions. It was very much appreciated since I live several hours from the dealership.
