I got the Car I was looking for. DJ was very accommodating and easy to work with. The dealership did not have the 2019 Subaru Ascent Touring Model in the Abyss Blue Pearl color. I was DJ was very accommodating and easy to work with. The dealership did not have the 2019 Subaru Ascent Touring Model in the Abyss Blue Pearl color. I was able to test drive a similar model and DJ did an excellent job explaining functions of all the new features that this vehicle had. Mr. Dougherty was able to locate an Abyss Blue Pearl assent with all the options I was looking for at another dealership. He then negotiated a dealer trade and had the vehicle there the next day. I love my new car. More

We had a great experience at Peninsula Subaru! Peninsula Subaru was recommended to us by a friend. They didn’t disappoint there. We were greeted in a timely fashion and all of our questions were answered. We worked with DJ who actually ordered our Forester with all the things we wanted and none of the things we didn’t need. Our car arrived earlier than expected and both DJ and Nick made the buying process very easy. They explained things thoroughly and went over all of the maintenance packages that were optional for us. DJ went above and beyond taking time to go over all the bells and whistle‘s in the car. We hadn’t had an experience like that at any other Subaru dealership in the region. Even though it’s not the closest Subaru dealership to us, we appreciate their family values and of course the free oil changes for life are a huge bonus! We will definitely be referring people we know to peninsula Subaru. Overall a great experience! More

Every experience ha I've been dealing with Peninsula Subaru for over 8 years and have purchased 3 Subaru vehicles thru them, most recently last week. Every experience has been marked by honesty, integrity and reliable relationships. I always dealt with DJ Dougherty, as we first met over the internet when I purchased my Forester thru him whilst living in Australia. He made the transaction painless and my vehicle was waiting for me upon return to the USA. Unlike many dealerships - at least my experience with DJ - there was never any pressure nor distasteful negotiations. DJ explained all the available options and their pros/cons, and asked good questions to sort out if I truly needed an option. DJ and I discussed pricing and I was always given a discount. Yes, the dealership still made a profit, but that is OK with me - that's why they're in business. But I always felt I received a fair and reasonable price. The Service Dept is also very good. If your near Peninsula Subaru, I highly recommend you consider them for your next vehicle purchase, either new or used. A happy Subaru owner. More

Easy, fair price and outstanding customer service. When the Subaru Ascent was announced , a year ago, I reached out , via email, to DJDaugherty asking when vehicle would be available etc. DJ responded When the Subaru Ascent was announced , a year ago, I reached out , via email, to DJDaugherty asking when vehicle would be available etc. DJ responded immediately. I subsequently decided to wait a year so in April of this year I reached out to DJ. At the time we were still in Mexico as that is where we spend the winter. I asked DJ for a quote on a specific Ascent for leasing and requested : money factor, selling price, capitalized cost assumed in lease calculation. Within a half hour he responded with all my questions answered but he informed me that vehicle would be not available for three weeks as it was in transit. Since I wanted the vehicle sooner I reached out to some other Subaru dealers. All responded but none responded as promptly as DJ. Some took days. One day passed and DJ sent me an email informing me that a vehicle that I wanted was just received from another dealer. I immediately responded and asked for lease numbers for that vehicle assuming no down payment. Within minutes DJ responded so I called him from Mexico informing him I wanted the vehicle and we arranged payment of money to hold vehicle until we returned home in three days. Upon return I met with DJ , signed paperwork and with 20 minutes was on my way. One very satisfied customer. More
