Employee interview Over the years I have seen countless dealerships being placed by a regional VP who had me go into many stores around the country as an employee. Stam Over the years I have seen countless dealerships being placed by a regional VP who had me go into many stores around the country as an employee. Stamford Ford and its staff have by far exceeded my expectations this morning as I stepped through the doors of the dealership. Not only was the staff extremely courteous and genuinely friendly, but their customers were as well because of how they are treated by staff. I met with Tom the general manager first who's genuine concern was making sure he made the right hire to continue with what the owner Dom (whom later I met) wanted to be to his community. A low pressure, top customer service, attitude of a servant facility with one thing in mind. Customer satisfaction. You can tell the difference when you walk into the building and feel an energy that we all wish dealerships we visited in the past have had. A positive and vibrant atmosphere with trustworthy people. And let me tell you. It comes from the top and is radiated through all the staff. I mean come on, they even have the friendliest dog in the world named Fenway (I think) in the building slowly checking on customers and giving that extra wow factor. If that doesn't scream good people then I dont know what does. Lol. Even if I don't get the job there. I tip my hat off to you gentleman for doing a wonderful job. More employers should take notes. Not just dealerships. Thank you for the visit today! More

About a month in shop due to recall then ongoing issues with tailgate opening randomly. They ultimately did the right thing and replaced the SUV. Doing the right thing which is rare for a car dealer. That gives them 5 stars in my opinion. Dominic and Barry were helpful. More

They Broke My Car Took my Ford in with a problem in February. They were horrible at the customer relations in the six weeks they had my car. I picked up my car and was Took my Ford in with a problem in February. They were horrible at the customer relations in the six weeks they had my car. I picked up my car and was told it was all set, but after running for only five-ten minutes the engine was overheating and smoke was rising from the hood/through the AC vents. I sent it back to the dealer; they took one look at the car and said that it had been in a collision, that they couldn't fix it, and that it was dangerous to drive. When I took it to my local auto body shop, they identified almost $5,000 in damages, almost all of which were new (ie. occurred at this dealership) 1.) I was not in any collision; if one occurred it was in the almost two months they had my car. 2.) It took them one look to see that the car was dangerous to drive, and yet that is the condition they gave me the car back in without mentioning anything. 3.) There are parts the car came in with, such as the splash guard, that not only are no longer attached, but due to deformity no longer can be clipped into place 4.) The principle of the dealership promptly told me he would help pay for the damages incurred, acknowledged that I had been wronged, but then began dodging my calls and failing to call back. More
