During my experience at Lake Chevrolet, I did not feel as they place the customer as the priority. Their main priority is themselves making money and hoping you can come to accept their terms. The initial experience was pleasant in comparison to other dealership experiences. The first day, we came to an agreement to purchase a vehicle and that I would be picking it up in one week. The purchase contract was sent over to me with multiple components incorrect/missing. Following the corrections that I had to identify were made to the contract, I was reassured that the deal was still intact for the original delivery date. A few days later I was informed that there was a slight hiccup, followed by a solution to meet the terms of the contract. In the afternoon of the 6th day, I was contacted and sternly told that they could not hold up their end of the deal. The exact details are not important, moreso that it was their actions that sparked this discussion. The used vehicle manager informed me several times that the inconvenience caused by their own team would directly relate to when I could have my vehicle. With the option of an easy solution available, Lake Chevrolet hesitated intensely before finally agreeing to supplying the vehicle within contract terms. If it had not been for Jim Schlict resolving this issue, I am certain I would have taken my business elsewhere. The day of pick up, it took them about two more hours than promised to get the vehicle ready, where I then found the odometer to have increased by more than anticipated. When the deal was finally over and I was walking over to the vehicle, I was presented with only one key as they were not able to provide the previously available second set. It is quite safe to say that this was my last experience with Lake. More
