Born in Tel Aviv, Israel he came to the United States at the age of 4. Dan grew up in the world of theater where his mother, the acclaimed Broadway actress, Mary Soreau and his father, a successful producer, taught him that although discipline and dedication to craft are keys to success that training and fun are indispensable to motivating a sales team to achieving its full potential. Dan relocated to Ocean County from New York in 1986. A graduate of Jackson Memorial High, he attended Berkeley College where he earned an Associate’s Degree in Business Management. After working for a number of Monmouth and Ocean county dealerships in various sales positions including management positions, Dan came to Pine Belt where he has been for the past 14 years. I purchased a vehicle 6/1/13. We found the vehicle we wanted, test drove it, and decided to buy it. From there it was a disaster. It took over 6 hours waiting for the paperwork to be ready to sign. so w wanted, test drove it, and decided to buy it. From there it was a disaster. It took over 6 hours waiting for the paperwork to be ready to sign. so where the real problem is, is it is now 26 days later and I still don't have my tags and registration. My temporary expired 6/20. I have been calling since a week before they expired and have been getting the run around. Finally on the day they expire I get a call saying I owe $20 more for my registration. This was very frustrating considering I already paid double what a registration normally costs but figured that was the price of getting a new car, all the added fees. I reluctantly paid the $20 and was promised by Dan the manager that my registration would be shipped overnight. It is now six days later and still no registration. My wife has been calling everyday and they can not give her an answer. 6/24 she was asked what our address was, showing their hand they never actually sent it on the 20th as they promised they had. They give attitude and tell us there is nothing they can do for us it should arrive eventually. What kind of service is that? Now my wife either can't drive her new car for going on a week now or has to drive it illiegally. Manager Dan, Manager Daryl, and salesman, Wayne have all been very rude and have shown horrible customer service. More

I would like to take an opportunity to not only thank Angel, Dan and David with whom my husband and I worked directly but also all of the other countless individuals who made us feel at home from the mom Angel, Dan and David with whom my husband and I worked directly but also all of the other countless individuals who made us feel at home from the moment we walked in the door. Since trading in my car in July I have had nothing but problems dealing with Pine Belt. My check engine light came on the second day of having the car and pine belt has been unsuccessful with turning it o problems dealing with Pine Belt. Dan Ariel the (general manager) gave me his word that they would fix my car for no cost because of all the b.s i had been through with them. Now January and my check engine light is STILL ON and they will not return any of my calls or voicemails that i leave and every time i call, they are never around to answer the phone. This is extremely ridiculous, they could at least have the decency to return my phone call and give me a price of the problem that they say they found this time. EVERY SINGLE TIME I GO THERE THEY SAY ITS ONE THING KEEP MY CAR FOR A DAY "FIX IT" RETURN MY CAR AND WITHIN THE NEXT 2 DAYS THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS BACK ON! AND EVERYTIME I GO BACK THEY SAY ITS SOMETHING DIFFERENT. this makes me question whether or not they did any work or if they just put miles on my car and used my gas. At least a quarter tank and 35 miles were put on my car every time and for what? they clearly DID NOT fix my car and i cannot pass inspection and just recently i got a ticket because of it. They reset my check engine light and give my car back like they actually did any work. I AM BEYOND DISGUSTED WITH PINE BELT AND I WOULDNT RECCOMEND THEM TO MY GREATEST ENEMY!!! More

This is a dealer to be avoided. They are the "bait and switch" kings. Not a single vehicle they advertise is available for sale. They advertise that they are a "bank", which they bare not. I am a victim of the bait and switch scam and I will never set foot in Pine Belt Chevy again. More

I don't know where to begin, my husband and I have shopping around at different dealerships for a new car, but several of them have been such stressful experiences and not very enjoyable.
