I have purchased two Jaguars from Ray Catena and their sales and service department are second to none. Each sale was ''painless" and each service appointment was completed with all issues resolved. A special acknowledgement goes out to Paul Y. for helping out with a technical issue involving my phone. It turned out that the problem was not with the vehicle but with my phone. Nevertheless, Paul called Verizon and explained the problem and stayed with me until it was resolved. This is not the first time Paul has helped me and he always goes above and beyond to resolve the issue at hand and always with a smile. I recently purchased a Jaguar F-Pace from Shane Rotolo at Ray Catena. From the first moment, this fellow rubbed me the wrong way, he didnt pick up on any social cues, I told him that I didnt want to be sold Ray Catena. From the first moment, this fellow rubbed me the wrong way, he didnt pick up on any social cues, I told him that I didnt want to be sold a car. He insisted on reading from what seemed like a script, which was mechanical, staged, a canned speech about the car, and frankly made me feel like I was a victim, rather then someone interested in Jaguar. While I liked the car and made a deal with his manager, I asked not to deal with Shane. Oddly all the paperwork, had his name on it, which completely turned me off. Listen, I am in sales, you have to read your clients and try to help them. When one approach isnt workng try something else. I honestly felt like this was the first car he ever sold, and I felt as if I was dealing with the owners son or something, really, like this guy should never sell cars. Look I realize i'm not the easiest person, but I knew what I wanted and told him to hold the sales stuff which never ended. He mistakenly told me the wrong warranty information for the car which almost made me leave, several times. Stinks that people like this cant read the cues...The delivery of the car, and the financing was fine. I have purchased vehicles from Ray Catena in the past and was impressed on how I were treated. This sales experience left me disappointed as Ray Catena has dropped a notch. Unfortunately, I have to resort to writing reviews like this to display my disappointment with the experience. If I was just given some respect and reasonableness i wouldnt be so dissapointed in the experience, cant even imagine how they will try to make this right. More
